Web page is deceiving, as sent to long stay after booking despite told parking nearer airport terminal and no transportation. ticket when exiting asked for £150 despite having paid to park? On talking to other Parker’s, this appears to be common practice hoping unsuspecting customers will pay. This I really bad and should be sorted immediately

Hi David, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about your experience with our car park. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes. Please use the form below to contact the Customer Support Team at Edinburgh Airport, where we will be happy to assist you further in this matter: https://support.edinburghairport.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new Thank you, Customer Support Team

I have used the long-stay car park a few times since the removal of the shuttle bus and have been lucky in that it has never been raining. Some consideration should be given to an umbrella loan scheme or a left umbrella/coat facility at the airport. The markings and signage are poor. Particularly in the dark, it is difficult to ensure one heads in the correct direction to reach the marked/bollarded walkway when leaving one's car. Better indication of the location of bays would be helpful. I have realised that it is essential to take several pints of reference when leaving the car to have a chance of quickly finding it. The alphanumeric designation of regions in the car parks is insufficient, particularly as one may approach the markers from adifferent direction when returning than leaving.

Signage for the multi storey car park at the approach roundabout should be clearer. It was difficult to find a parking space which is stressful when you have a flight to catch

No bussing is a disgrace as it's needed for many customers who can't walk (or return at -2C as we have just done). Exit routes need better signing, perhaps using highlighted signs as they are difficult to follow at night.

The booking system is good but the walking route from Long Stay to the terminal is very poorly marked and involves trying to find a small unsigned gate in a high metal fence.

Used the Terminal parking. Convenient but expensive.

Parking was ok but the barrier didn't recognise our ticket and asked for an additional £176.00 to get out!

Used the car park for the first time in a while. Signposting poor and difficulty in exiting despite online booking

It was very crowded, even in mid-stay.

Finding the midstay carpark when driving in was fine and no issues with the numberplate recognition. However, the signposting to get back to the carpark when walking back from the airport is really really poor and we ended up having to walk on uneven/no walkway areas to find the way. Don't trust the signs and drop a googlemap pin if you're not sure of your way in the dark.

It did the job but was pretty far away and the machine didn't register my car when I left so I had to chat someone before I left. Someone else could have panicked when they saw a huge charge.

Pre-book parking is cheapest option, however as my flight got cancelled had to pay extra on return, which is expensive, You need to have an easier option on manage your booking to allow for this , i.e a link that says flight delay and click on it to allow you to extend stay at preferential rates, it is not customers fault that flights are delayed and out of customers control, you should not be profiteering from this

I have parked here a number of times and my number plate never gets picked up. The team on the external barriers are good and always let me through when I give the ref number for the booking. Bit of a pain but great bit to park and I will be back.

I use the multistorey about 2-3times every year. In July I could not find adisabled place on any level and recently I found one on level 3. Many places are occupied by cars not displaying disabled badges. You should try to discourage this. Also on exit on Thursday the 1st Dec my entry ticket was rejected and advised that I owed £540 ! I contacted your employees by pressing the assistance button. He answered quickly and after checking my registration and name he advised that a mistake had been made by the system not recognising that I had booked 11 a stay of 11 days months in advance. He quickly resolved the situation and opened the barrier to allow me to leave.

Every time without fail the ticket machine wants £900 to exit the car park even though it was pre paid 3 weeks in advance. Not a problem, just ring the bell and speak to someone and they open the gate.

Good price and very convenient, however even though I booked online and paid in advance the exit barrier tried to charge me £150 to leave.(even though I was 5 hours ahead of my time expiring) Got it sorted using the intercom to talk to someone, but not what you want to happen after a long journey.
