we arrived back on 17th july waited 20minutes for a bus and took 1 hour to get to the main road

There is no clear sign for “ EDINBURGH AIRPORT LONG STAY CAR PARKING. I ended up parking in another long stay car park (NCP). When I was driving from Aberdeen I can see only NCP long stay car parking. I wasted my ~nearly 25 GBP by pre booking at EDINBURGH AIRPORT LONG STAY CAR PARKING. Where as NCP charges only ~15 GBP.

Upon arriving, the valet rows were completely full. The agent receiving the car did not go around the car and inspect the car when booking in. "Pin" dent was discovered on the side of the car the day following collection (collected in the dark). The agent that moved the car tampered with the car and seat settings. The extra cleaning package purchased with the booking was not carried out and was refunded only a couple of days into the booking. The bus service was slow and infrequent. Will not be using this service again, avoid!

Hello, Firstly, the price of car parking, shameful! Blood sucking profiteering comes to mind. I had to extend my car parking stay by 24 hours. The convenience of doing this online was unavailable however you can book online? I had to call the airport who then put me thorugh to car parking dept (being charged for phone call, maybe thats why I couldnt amned it online???) and got an employee who didnt have a clue, told me to make a new booking?? Not impressed and to be honest I never am when attending Scotlands captial International airport. Cheers.

The staff at the airport are very rude and not very helpful with delayed flights! Also the prices charged here are twice that of Glasgow and Newcastle. Its a shame really they do this as they are living of the Edinburgh capital. The management team need to stop over charging! Most delays are caused by Edinburgh airport, why should the traveller be held liable.

. Very full took a while to find somewhere to park although had prebooked in the terminal surface. Very small spaces. On exit the barrier didn’t work and had to call for an attendent.

Slightly more expensive than offsite parking but far more convenient. Booked in advance so price difference wasn't that great.

vague, almost non existent directions to get into the car park - signage at airport extremely poor also. On returning from vacation I had to enter the ticket 3 times before the machine told me I had nothing to pay - nothing on the ticket suggested this, assumes you have a perfect memory! I would assume the fastrack is aimed at a no hassle experience - compared to Glasgow airport, Edinburgh's attempt falls waaaaay short.

The traffic between the on-airport campus long stay and the airport terminal was so bad that it took over 1 hour to get a bus and get to the airport terminal. This caused us to miss check-in despite arriving at the airport car park 1hr45mins before our flight! Beware as the customer services for Edinburgh airport apparently said this was normal. Need to allow another 1hr if you are using this car park(Edinburgh Airport On-Airport Long Stay)

The car park’s reliance on technology means that occasionally the whole system fails and despite pre-paying the ticket machine attempts to extort several hundred pounds. Fortunately the attendant was helpful enough but it could cause significant problems for anyone with poor English.

Won’t be using the facility again. Paid up front for 1 weeks parking but when I entered my ticket into the machine on leaving it asked for £315. I then had to reverse the car into a safe position and go to your desk 300 yards down the airport to be told ‘there is a problem with the tickets.’ Very poor.

My car was paid for up until midnight on the 10/07/18 my flight was delayed by 2hrs it took and eternity for bag collection, by the time I got to the car it was 03:00 on the 11/07/18 Then when I got to the barrier popped in my ticket I was presented with a request for a further charge of £90 given the time being 0300 in the morning I was too tired to investigate this additional charge so I paid it (bearing in mind that l was now very late for a hotel check in) So next day I phone to enquire why I had an additional charger. I was told that it was due to my mistake according to parking control 00:00hours is not midnight so effectively I was 26 hours over my time. And incurred a 90% over a barrel charge. Not happy it’s a deliberate entrapment. I have been declined a refund. So I plan to take further action.

We pre paid for our parking in January when we booked our holiday. When we arrived back in Edinburgh at 12 midnight and put our car park ticket into the machine we were told we owed £280. It was pitch dark by the ticket machine, there were several cars queuing behind us and there was no clear indication on the ticket machine of who ,or how we contacted someone to sort this out.Fortunately for us, but not for them there were several other weary travellers in the same situation and one of them manged to find the right contact button and helped the rest of us. Not a good ending to our holiday

Booking reference: 3821457 I could not exit the car park on my return The machine did not recognize my ticket and I could not get any reply from you assistance button and I had to drive back through your one way system the wrong way to your maned office. Where I got no satisfactory explanation to what was wrong. The card was manually authorized and I drove back to the exit point where again the card did not work after pushing the assistance button several times the barricade eventually opened. This caused me and my family considerable inconvenience and it took some 30 minutes to get out of the car park this was totally unacceptable and I request financial recompense
