For the price you pay for parking, it was not acceptable. There is no walking route for passengers in Long Stay. People were parking all over the place, it was like the wild west. Most places that you could walk were blocked by parked cars. The walking route in Plane Parking looked to have been planned around every puddle in the car park.

Charged £60 to leave car park as was over by a day not my fault. When the daily price is approx £9. If had to pay for an extra day fine but £60 most expensive days parking ever.

I used Fast Park for the first time and it was very easy and convenient to use. However on picking up my car I was rather disappointed that there was a strong smell of fish and chips inside the car and I can only assume the driver who returned my car to the pick up point had picked up a chip shop carry out while using my car which I find rather unacceptable.

The parking part of the deal was, as always, very good. Pity the barrier didn't work to let me in, so had to push the button for assistance. This raised the barrier. One week later on return; the barrier accepted my ticket but tried to charge me £360 to let me exit. It took a lengthy conversation with two different staff members, neither of whom could find my booking details on your system, despite me providing booking reference, reg number etc. Eventually, I think the chap I was talking to, just gave up and told me to reinsert the ticket and he raised the barrier for me. No apology or explanation. Usually a great experience using the Multi-storey car park, just not so good this time.

The signposting is confusing. We booked long term parking , and despite following the signs, getting an exit ticket and having our number plate confirmed on entry, seem to have parked in the wrong area. We were told on exiting that we would have to pay a £140 fee to leave the car park, but when the operative looked up our booking, he said he would 'let us off'. we left without paying. unnecessary hassle after a good trip.

I had a parking lot for 7 days (8/09 - 15/09). My flight was in at midnight. When booking when I entered my flight details, the time automatically changed from 00:00 to 01:00 the next day (16/09). However, the date (September 15) did not change and this misled me. I had to pay extra 40 pounds when I left. This is a misrepresentation. I guess I'll be claiming that money back.

The parking itself was fine, once you had a space. However, with a prepaid ticket and reservations, we spend over 30 mins driving around the car park unable to find any space. It was completely full with many cars literally parking anywhere, waiting for people to arrive in the hope they will be leaving and became like a racing track with other customers is exactly the same position trying to get the space. Unacceptable start to a holiday due to parking availability. It is likely I would still recommend the parking as you really don't have a choice. But to pay the extra money for the multi-story car park or leave an extra hour to find a space!!

Used Terminal Parking. Insufficient parking spaces. Parking spaces too narrow for larger cars. Arrived back from abroad to find that my car had been badly damaged by someone who had vacated adjacent parking slot.

We arrived 7:15 am Wednesday 7th. Sept. We spent 20 minutes to find a parking spot. There was absolutely no-one to assist. On exit the queue was long as numerous cars were unable to clear. When we finally got close to the arrier the curb was 12 inches high and somehow I damaged my car by hitting it although I did not see it as there was a traffic jam. This has cost me £ 1,000 to repair......I shall taxi from the borders in future.

When I arrived back in Edinburgh at about 1am the rain was torrential and the walk to long stay was terrible due to poor shelter, poor directions and puddles with six inches of standing water due to poor run off, all which could be easily fixed, I wasn’t impressed.

Used long stay. Not a problem in itself, but route to terminal is poorly signposted in car park, and paving is not wheeled suitcase friendly, being rough and uneven. Seems airport is just interested in taking money, rather than providing a service.

This is the second time we have parked in the last month and both times the barrier did not let us through even although we had prepaid

Road surface very uneven and poor in many areas, not suitable for pulling a wheeled suitcase. Pre-booked and paid for 9 days in the long stay car park but a £220 outstanding amount was requested on exit on day nine. Was only permitted to exit after giving my booking confirmation reference.

The surface terminal car park is huge. The long rows from the terminal building do not appear to be labelled so that it is difficult if not impossible to make a note of which row you leave your car in so that you can find it easily when you return. It is not clear whether or not pre-paid tickets need to be machine checked before leaving the terminal. Mine was repeatedly rejected at the exit and I had to call for assistance. In short, this was a shambles.

I have 2 problems - firstly, the registration recognition system did not function therefore, both on entry and exit, I needed to contact staff via intercom system. I would rate this as a minor irritation. More annoying, however, was the "spaces available" notification on each Parking Level. The number displayed bore no correlation to the spaces available. As the park was pretty full, the process of identifying a space (finally found, on top level, which is not covered) took quite a lot longer than necessary. This needs to be addressed.
