“We pre-booked in the Long stay car park. We didn't have any major problems. The price is fair. The bays are just about big enough that you can park in them and still open the door (unlike the mid-stay). The pathway to and from the airport is pretty invisible, but it was daylight when we arrived, so we had a target to aim for - we remembered the way back in the dark. The biggest annoyance is finding a bay - everyone like us was driving around fruitlessly - why not have some electronic system like they have in city car parks that advise where the empty bays can be found. Also, maybe you could use fluoro painted arrows on the ground to help find the exit in the dark - the small signs are tough to see in the drizzle at 3am”

“Signage isn’t great and we ended up in the drop off part of the multi-storey so had to pay £5 to exit. When we got to the barrier there was no ANPR, as detailed in the email, so had to buzz for help to get a ticket. There is also now fast track include with the multi-storey parking which is great but we didn’t know this until we were in the car park. We then left the ticket in the car but this is needed for the Fastrack booth. Better information on the email confirmation would be good.”
“Parking was ok, obviously a very busy car park.
On an early dark rainy morning we found the lack of signage & lights trying to find our way to find the terminal, just as well we had given our selfs plenty of time.”

“Received email giving instructions for parking. Was advised to collect ticket, and that my booking reference and car reg would show on the ticket. Needless to say it didn't so i spoke with someone at the help desk who assured me all was well.
On arriving back in the UK and trying to exit the car park, i was told that i owed £279. Not ideal having to search for reference numbers etc at 3am , however , we were eventually permitted to leave without having to pay again.
Parking itself was fine and the car was safe and secure. A plus is that it is a stone throw from the airport terminal.”

“The car park itself and the bus to and from the terminal was ok. However, the shelter at the airport to wait for the bus was terrible. Arriving back at 12.30am from Italy to wind and rain and having to stand at a ‘shelter’ which was no use at keeping anyone dry and way too small for the number of people waiting was thoroughly unpleasant. By the time the bus arrived we were all soaked.”

“Was in mid stay carpark but saw no disabled spaces, are there supposed to be any?? Also did not know that special assistance can be requested from there. It was only advised once we were inside the SA office. Needs to be advised when booking”

“Parking itself was fine but as happens every time I try to leave the car park after pre-paying the barrier tried to charge me again. Quickly resolve through the intercom on this occasion however sometimes it’s a bit of a fight with the operator. As I’ve seen on other reviews this is a regular occurrence, get it sorted!”

“Extremely difficult to find a space with many cars just left on double yellow lines. On exit, my prepaid car with Reg printed on it was inserted only to be told there was £160 excess to pay!! Help line simply cleared it and I was allowed to exit?????”

“Found it without issues, instructions which I was sent were clear on what to do, the parking places are marked above which made it easier to find the car after. 3 stars because of potholes and some uneven tarmac in places. Otherwise happy.”

“The parking itself was secure and relatively inexpensive in the long stay. However, the walking route that they mention is really poorly signed so altho I could see the terminal building and just walked a bit of an odd way back on to the main road and round, it wasn’t ideal. On the way back I came out at arrivals in the dark and I must say the signage back to the long term car park was dreadful and not at all clear.”

“Excellent very easy to park when departing the airport and close to terminal. On arriving car was at back of car park which defeated the purpose of using it really the multi story one was close 🤷♀️. Staff very friendly and helpful. System good.”

“Signage walking to and from terminal is not clear at all. On the way to the terminal ourselves and 2 other couples not known to us were all floundering until one of us found a gap in the fence to get to where we needed to go. In our minds there is no clear walkway until you get to the closer car park. When we went to leave, the ticket wouldn’t work and had to press for assistance but as the ANPR camera was broken the chap had to ask if we had pre-booked and then took a minute or 2 to let us out. Once we were out of the car park the traffic congestion was horrendous. All in all you could do better.”
“Usually I’d give it a 5 star review as it’s easy and very user friendly, but on booking a last minute it costs more than double than it usually would on a pre booked situation,
If I need to use a car park on a short notice basis I’ll look elsewhere from now, I’ve used many times and thought I’d just use it for quickness, it cost more than a normal European flight would,”
