“The Plane Parking was good and bus transfers to and from the airport were prompt. What was dissappointing what that when I was leaving the car park after inserting my ticket, the machine said that I needed to pay the non-prepaid price which was £180 for a week even though I had prepaid for parking for approximately £70. When I spoke with an attendant through the intercom, it was not an issue, but it would have been better if the automated system worked as it should have.”

When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Parking is fine, if you can get a space. No staff on hand to direct you to empty spaces and no staff there to ensure that cars are parked properly resulting in some cars parking in 2 spaces & others unable to find one. Many cars parked on roadside or blocking end of lanes.”

“The multi storey parking is great for location and the fast track passes. But the screens on each floor showing the number of available spaces wasn’t working correctly when we visited and it ended up taking more time on the floors that were full but showed available spaces when there weren’t any which was slightly frustrating given that you park on the multi storey to save time. Maybe these screens need to be checked to ensure they are representative of the actual amount of available spaces on the subsequent floor.”

“Signage needs to be bigger and clearer difficult to find the correct car park especially in the dark and pouring rain ,car park itself was great although we parked in the wrong one !”

“Could not believe the amount of vehicles parked outwith designated bays! Are you overbooking? There is no marked pedestrian walkways either. So constantly having to check around for vehicles as you walk around vehicles parked on roadway. Also seemed pricey.”

“The number plate recognition system did not register my car when I entered for a 4 day pre-booked stay in the multi-storey car park. When I tried to exit, the machine asked me to pay £260. I pressed the help button which took some time to answer. Once I was speaking to the assistant the problem was resolved very quickly, but it was a bit disconcerting.”

“The booking process was easy enough but I arrived in the early hours to find that my booking could not be found. Fortunately, I had given myself enough time to get the issue resolved.”
Thank you for your review. Our FastPark services uses block parking which means a return journey 2 and from the area can be up to 4 miles as is set out on the website and our confirmation e-mails issued to customers.

“The parking was very convenient to enter and leave the airport. However, the price was hyper inflated and the size of the space would just meet minimum regulations and no more. Very difficult to navigate the size of space and also round the car park, particularly in the area close to the airport tower.”

“I would give more stars, but I found it difficult to find the correct parking area. To improve, please have a simple map showing which car park on the receipt/printout... I had not used it before, and ended up asking staff and I found it stressful. It should not be.
On return to collect my car, the exit barrier machine said I owed £150, but I had pre-paid and was within the time I had booked (and paid online for). This was distressing but cleared up quickly on the intercom, and the barrier was opened. After late flights, and delays, to get to the car and be asked for more payment was also stressful, with a drive home alone in the small hours of the night.
I hope next time will be smoother and less stressful.
Both on arrival and departure the bus driver was friendly, helpful efficient and reassuring. He made the experience SO much better. Thank you.”

“The parking was ok and the car was easy to find, however upon leaving we were charged an extra £6 also the last time we used it we were charged an extra £4 to get out, given that we had paid £80-£90 already I find this is pretty poor”
“We pre-booked in the Long stay car park. We didn't have any major problems. The price is fair. The bays are just about big enough that you can park in them and still open the door (unlike the mid-stay). The pathway to and from the airport is pretty invisible, but it was daylight when we arrived, so we had a target to aim for - we remembered the way back in the dark. The biggest annoyance is finding a bay - everyone like us was driving around fruitlessly - why not have some electronic system like they have in city car parks that advise where the empty bays can be found. Also, maybe you could use fluoro painted arrows on the ground to help find the exit in the dark - the small signs are tough to see in the drizzle at 3am”

“Signage isn’t great and we ended up in the drop off part of the multi-storey so had to pay £5 to exit. When we got to the barrier there was no ANPR, as detailed in the email, so had to buzz for help to get a ticket. There is also now fast track include with the multi-storey parking which is great but we didn’t know this until we were in the car park. We then left the ticket in the car but this is needed for the Fastrack booth. Better information on the email confirmation would be good.”
