“Reservation made for plane parking site, received mail that I had been upgraded to terminal parking, entered parking for departure on returned progressed to exit barrier ticket was rejected with £515 to pay, had to reverse and walk to parking office the attendant then informed me that the booking site was down, he was very helpful and rectified ticket had to return by foot in blinding rain and gale ticket was accepted,
Soaking wet and 30 minute delay, totally unaccepted, 83 years old, hopefully get a reply to this statement .”
“Parking was fine managed to get open space to avoid dented door experienced before at this airport however the road surfaces at the airport are 3rd world with appalling potholes and torn up surfaces.
Next the ticket machines and barriers must date from the 1990s they never work and there is always some problem.
This time even though I prepaid came up on exit barrier £122 so once again had to press button for help.
Edinburgh airport is going downhill fast compared with say Stansted there is a massive lack of investment in infrastructure”
“Easy to gain entry but my ticket has been rejected upon exiting the car park. A charge in excess of £200.00 has been requested on the last three occasions I have used the car park. Resolved by phoning the help centre. But why ? Most frustrating !”

“Not a pleasant experience. Directions to and from car park are not easy to navigate. Once on the correct path it was full of pot holes and pools of rainwater. Couldn't exit car park at first as initially there was an outstanding fee of £352 even though pre-paid. Lack of light at exit barrier means it is difficult to find the call for assistance button. All in all, not a relaxing experience at start or end of a holiday.”
“Arrived at long stay parking to park car for 2 weeks, No shuttle bus , not told about this. My wife and I had to push trolley with 4 cases to terminal. My wife uses a walking stick and I have had a hip replacement,both in our 70,s. Not a good start to holiday.On return nobody in terminal did not know if buses were running or not. I left my wife with cases at pick up point and walked to car park, returned to pick her up. More information should be given.I phoned customer service sand spoke to a young lady called Rachael. She has refunded parking costs in full.In all 5 out 5 to Rachael for being nice about the whole episode and 1 out of 5 to car park management

“Very difficult to find the terminal car park, so we ended up at drop-off. Very difficult to find the terminal.
On return; no signs of the car parks, just trial and ERROR.”
“Having pre-paid and stayed in the carpark for less than the paid-for period, I didn't appreciate a demand to pay another £40 to lift the exit barrier. Particularly as no-one answered the help call at the barrier for about 2 or 3 minutes. This wasn't the first time the system had failed me in this manner.”
“It’s now the second time I have had to wait up to 30mins to leave the car park , clearly you have a problem that is not being rectified with your system.
I had to wait for 25mins in a queue of cars to talk to somebody through the intercom as your system was not recognising the car number plates , I will not be using your car park again.”

I pre-booked parking in the multi-story car park for £44.99. My wife was then charged £130 additional when leaving the car park.
Efforts to contact them have proven unsuccessful and no one at the airport is willing to help us.”
“I use the airport in a weekly basis and the pre booking car number plate recognition system has not worked on a large number of occasions now and creates a whole range of problems trying to leave the airport when that is the time you need it to be smooth”
