“I used the Fast Park service.
Poor experience on arrival. My flight destination (Preveza) could not be found whilst trying to check the car in, resulting in a member of staff having to input an incorrect destination just to complete the process. There were many others in the same situation and staff were overwhelmed.
The result was a chaotic scene and long queues.
Entering flight details should be done in advance and not repeated at the airport as this causes needless duplication, delay and opportunity for technical failure.”
“Having paid in advance and specified arrival and departure times for a weeks long stay parking I would have thought I would have access to a parking bay, apparently not. After 20min of searching I had to abandon my car in a hatched area and several others had to do the same thing. Very stressful when you’re trying to catch a flight.”
“We were disappointed.
I originally made the booking for our car but had to later update the booking (change the car registration) as we had decided to take a different car. That update, in itself, was not a problem, and you acknowledged the change in car registration number by email; so all seemed fine.
We arrived at the car park on the designated day, took the ticket and left for our holiday. We arrived back at Edinburgh in the early hours of the morning and put the ticket in the machine only to be told there was a £200 shortfall on the amount paid.
At that time in the morning we just wanted to get home, and not have to deal with a problem that we knew was your fault.
It turned out that the update registration was not on your system, and the car had not been recognised at all when we entered the car park. you were therefore asking us to pay full price for the stay.
We were not impressed and are unlikely therefore to use this service again.
Will you bother to reply to me, and ensure this problem will never happen again? ......I sincerely doubt it.

I had used the car park for a 5 day trip, unfortunately my flight home was delayed by 2hours 45 mins so I exited the car park just over an hour and a half later than i had stated on my booking..... not the end of the world, but I was charged an extra £9 with no option other than to pay or I dont get my car out the carpark! That's around 8% extra for my parking, I emailed to explain this but no reply. So in summary not great in this current climate

“Parking is excellent - But I was Charged an Extra £9.00 on departing, the Plane was delayed in Beauvais France for 3 hrs & this is not taken into account as there was not my fault the Plane was delayed yet the cost is just added as if I was booking times incorrectly.”
“In the past we have always used the long stay car park and have recommended it to our friends, but on this occasion it was the worst possible start to our holiday. I had torn a muscle in my calf and the walk to the terminal was long and very painful, despite my leg support and walking stick. Unless the shuttle buses are reinstated I will be very wary of booking this in future.”
“Used long-term a lot pre-covid: convenient, good value when booked ahead, and easy to use. Latest experience less good. (1) Barrier didn't open automatically, so some uncertainty whether the system had recognsied the booking (it had, but it was unclear); (2) my return was delayed 5 hours, and the late charge made the parking poor value compared to taxi/uber; (3) no shuttle bus, and the walk was poorly signed and maintained; (4) prices have gone up. Not a bad experience overall, but I used to use it by choice, and would not now.”
“For the price paid for a 6 day stay I was extremely disappointed by the lack of signage and a clearly marked route from parking in Long stay section J1 to the airport terminal. The absence of any staffing to advise was also surprising.”

“The long stay carpark is so far from terminal so eed to re instate buses. Iwas unable to amend my booking as my flight was postponed for one day and I had to pay £40 for a n extra 21hrs stay so was not happy. I would not recommend the long stay car park to anyone.”
“No WiFi most of the time. Delays delays delays...The internal terminal worked ok albeit overcrowded but the logistics and delays were a result of bad decisions. Staff were let go unnecessarily as there was a furlough. Greed.
The airport needs to be expanded along where the cheap operators are parked as it's a busy hub. In 2022 to have to walk on the apron to get onto a plane is not exactly the first-world standard. You can do better. Just as well as you know how to raise prices..”
“I was not impressed that, because of changing flights out of my control, I had to cancel and rebook at a higher rate, rather than just amend the times. Your T&Cs say that the price you originally book at is the price you pay, but in reality, you pay the risen cost due to time constraints.”
“I booked and paid for one week in the "long stay" park. On arrival it is very confusing as to where the car park is. Having used the intercom I was told that I was in the right place and explained about keeping the ticket.
On return we were disgorged from a different section of the main building and guided to the "long stay" park. Our car was not there, but in the medium park. It was very confusing and took more than half an hour to get the right area.”
