Expensive and poor service for the £55 parking charge for one week. After a 200 metre walk with our bags to the furthest bus stop we then had a 20 minute wait out in the open for the bus to collect disappointing service for the hefty cost. Wouldn't recommend this and won't be using it again. Dougie McLeod

Unable to exit multi storey using ticket . Called operator via help talk button - very unhelpful. Not encouraged to use this facility again.

After paying nearly forty pounds for the privilege of parking at Edinburgh airport for 28 hours, the exit machine then demanded I pay a further twenty two pounds to exit the surface car park, at least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask! I will not be using Edinburgh airport for any further parking.

Awful. Despite paying in advance they tried to Bill me £60 on the way out. Unhelpful customer services when I buzzed.

I arrived from a very delayed flight about 00.30am. A very kind coach driver made sure I was delivered to the correct spot for my car. The rest was a nightmare. I put in my prepaid ticket at the barrier and it told me I owed £60. Rubbish. I pushed every intercom button in the line of barriers. Nothing. I went to the office and there was no one. There was a driver valeting his bus and he was was much good as his soggy rag. He said there was a queue for an answer to the intercom the person was at the airport. So much rubbish again. The airport was empty so why are staff there. After a very long time of waiting on the intercom 'person', I told the valeting driver if he couldn't or wouldn't help me I would have to phone the police and he told me to go ahead. I did and they phoned the customer services who subsequently called me on the intercom. My pre booking was confirmed and the barrier was lifted. NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER. I was an hour at the barrier and I consider this outrageous as a 66 yr old woman on her own who expected her car to have 24/7 security and 24/7 customer service. Both were not in evidence. By the time I left another customer appeared looking for a bus to the airport - he had parked and waited for some time. The valeting driver had been no help whatsoever to him either. Luckily it was a warm evening or there could have been other consequences.

I had booked online and when I arrived I was unsure on what to do so I took a card and parked my car but the thought crossed my mind on how they can confirm my booking so after returning from holiday I placed the card to exit the park and it stated I had to pay £80 fees I had already booked this online so the customer services at the gate had to come to rescue I think this is a very poor way of working I think more information should be given to those who book online as at Glasgow airport parking they have people on standby to help with any assistance needed

The big issue with parking at Edinburgh airport in my view is the functionality of the website. It does not allow a regular customer to login, which means every time you need to enter all your details. Secondly, it does not retain account history, so if you want a copy invoice, it is impossible. Lastly, it sometimes allows you to pay for a booking without entering car details, which means either you need to phone them to fix it or your car is not recognised on entry and you have a hassle on exit. This is THE WORST IS WEBSITE I USE REGULARLY. Please look at Ringo and copy it's functionality.

Why is there a "no vehicle" road sign en route to the mid term car park !! Very poor planning !!

The prepaid parking system doesn't work, and they know it doesn't work, but the booking confirmation still says "...drive up to the barrier ... and the barrier will open". It doesn't. I don't suppose anyone cares, whatever they say.

Used the mid stay car park- Never Again. Biggest rip off. If you are unlucky you park next to the long stay car park where you can walk through and vice versa. If raining suggest you walk through and get long stay bus if raining as is a very long uncovered walk and not one for winter. Probably faster on the bus. To top it all, pre paid for parking and although my car number was read and printed on ticket had to press phone button to get out number. More paperwork hassle to get reference number.

Paid up front but the barrier didn't recognise my number plate, so have now paid twice!

The experience in Edinburgh airport time and time again is getting worse. There are far too many people going through the airport that in my opinion is not big enough to cope. This makes security unbearable and time to get through is unacceptable. Twice I pre booked parking last week and twice I had to press the buzzer as tried to charge me again before I left. We were on flight from Budapest and took us 30-45mins to get through passport control. With us being the only flight to land this is unacceptable.

Finding the right long stay car park was a struggle as there are several and there is no way to distinguish which one you need to be in from the booking reference. On the way into the parking area there are many different signs for different long stay car parks making it very difficult to find the right one, the only way I managed to work out where I had to park was by asking first the lady in one of the car park offices and then a bus driver. Thankfully I had left in plenty time otherwise I would have missed my flight. I must not have found the correct one either as the ticket barrier tried to charge me £80 despite pre-booking and paying before arriving. The only positive was that the parking assistant let me out without much hassle after I read him my reference number over the assistance line.

Having pre-booked parking I was seriously disappointed to find approximately 10 other cars driving around aimlessly looking for a space to park. There were cars parked on access routes outwith the normal parking bays, obviously for the same reason. Given the fact that you are parking at an airport an assumption should be made that there is a check-in to go through, security to go through and finally, hopefully, a flight to be caught. It took me 30 to 40 minutes to locate a parking bay which is totally unacceptable. If you take the money you should ensure that space exists.

No car parking spaces available. I arrived at 0800 on a Tuesday and I along with several other cars had to drive for ages looking for a space. I eventually gave up and parked illegally as I had a flight to catch - shambles.

The ONLY bad thing about the parking is the long stay car park where the automatic number plate recognition NEVER works...you always have to use the intercom and wait - its a pain!

Car parking charges have reached a disgustingly high level. How can it cost more to park for 3 days than it does for the return flights to london?

Overpriced, inconvenient & terrible value for money. Changes over last 6-12 months have been detrimental to customer service.
