The location is excellent and price was ok. However upon my return i was charged about £3.90 for being about 2hrs late, when most operators seem to give a certain amount of leeway. Furthermore i didnt know until i got to the barrier, and then it told me they would accept card payments at the barrier, so i had to put the car in reverse, wait for the queue behind me to sort itself out and then go to the machine to make payment, not impressed.

Ridiculously priced. Three times the price if you don't pre-book and not much signage to make you aware that one overnight stay will cost nearly £100 in the multi- storey. Ripping off those who can't always pre- book is not a good idea.

Fat too expensive. It costs more to park than to fly. Poor website. Why can't you store personal details? Why does the ticket on arrival not recognise/confirm that you have pre-paid?

Not for the first time, in spite of having prepaid, on checking out at the barrier I was asked to pay before the barrier would raise. This time it was for £360. It is tiresome to then have to ring the attendant button, dig out my booking reference number, and provide that before being allowed out. As I said previously, this is not a one off incident, it happens often enough to be annoying. Could you please try and redress. Thanks Michael Houston

Earlier today I contacted the Airport on 0131 348 4203 and spoke to someone about the issues which we experienced both at the time of our departure on 21/3 and our return on 31/3.

I felt ripped off. During the booking process I got offered a £6 upgrade to include fastTRACK, which is described as "fastTRACK security lane included" and "Access Airport Security via the link bridge". Only once I made the booking and had paid was I told in the small print that fastTRACK at Edinburgh is of absolutely no use whatsoever if you have hold luggage. It's only available to checked in passenger with hand luggage only. There is no fastTRACK security line if you are coming in from main terminal building where the baggage drop counters are located. A complete con! Don't fall for it. Also the automatic recognition system didn't work and the system tried to charge me £360 on exit, so I had a talk to staff to get that fixed too.

On behalf of the Scottish FA I booked a total of 12 cars in to parking for a duration of 10 days, 2 of the cars in the party were unable to leave the car park as they did not have authorisation numbers with them and where both told they should pay over £100 each if they could not find this. Luckily I had the details which I could give the two drivers over the phone but can't understand why the registration plates were not recognised which would have avoided any confusion. I made sure I had the parking arranged until midnight the day they landed even though the flight came in at 1.00pm just to cover anything that may arise. In light of this and for future trips, I will use the Flying Scot

I didn't actually find the parking and ended up paying twice. I went to prem parking rather than the long-stay as the signs indicated long-stay. I didn't find the signs very clear. Sadly, I paid 18 then another 30 for only only 39 hours!!

Sign posting to car-park not clear. Number plate recognition machinery did not work and we were told we had to pay £230 to leave car-park. Took some time to contact operator who finally let us out. Annoying as we had long journey ahead.

Ages waiting for a bus at 5am and then 2 turned up at the same time. Did they get stuck in traffic in the 5 min journey to the terminal?

The day parking fees even in long or mid stay are outrageous. There is no justification for the mid stay to be that much more expensive, when really it saves the airport money when people walk. For the fees you're taking you could at least fix the surface such that our cars aren't in knee deep puddles when it rains a bit.

I pre booked parking opposite the airport for a short stay holiday ! When I was leaving I put my ticket in the machine and it asked for a payment of £145.00 I pressed the HELP button after wrestling with a robot on the other side I eventually was given permission to get through the barriers !

The parking at Edinburgh Airport is very expensive and in addition if you are with someone who is disabled and has severe walking difficulties but are not in a wheelchair the access to the terminal is extremely far away. In addition even if you prepay the exit does not recognise this and you will need to have your reference to hand in order to avoid the embarrassment of a huge queue building up behind you.

The location was good and plenty of spaces. Unfortunately bad weather in Amsterdam delayed our return flight by 8 hours and my exit from the car park by 7 hours. I paid £25 for 3 days parking but an additional fee of £30 because of this which I find disgraceful.

The bus stand is a shambles. So many people and trolleys that people couldn't get out of the road. Plus the bus to your long stay appeared to be running less frequently than those for premiair so it doesn't make sense to pay for your long stay. That said, if you made a footpath to get there, I'd prefer your long stay offering. I don't believe that would cannibalise your other offerings as I'd still use multi story and surface when working are picking up the tab.

Disappointed and concerned to be asked to pay over £600 at exit after pre-booking. No explanation given by staff just as well I had my booking reference printed!
