I booked on-line and couldn't get through the barrier when I arrived so had to phone to be let in. When I went to leave I inserted the ticket issued to me on arrival into the machine and it said I owed £360 even though I'd prepaid on-line. It was 2am and rather worrying initially as no one answered the help call on the machine. Eventually someone answered and let me through.

" It all seemed pretty chaotic when I arrived and the terminal surface carpark I ended up in was so far from the airport that I wish I'd paid less and gone in the long stay. "

We booked the long term parking for the first time for £64 pounds for 11 days which was OK. However when we arrived the barriers wouldn't let us in and we had to have a long conversation with an operative who grudgingly let us in. On the way back out the barriers wouldn't open and said that we owed £210! Another press of the button (this time to a more helpful operative) who opened up barriers after we quoted reference. Parking itself fine and bus transfer good, but please get your act together!

There was not enough information where to park.It was all very confusing. The information on the booking confirmation did not give clear instructions. The names on the car parks were very vague.Much more distinct identification and instructions should be provided. The booking confirmation did not say pass through the barrier and get a ticket which would give exit recognition.Nor was there a help contact telephone line listed to have opportunity to get guidance. The signs to exit the terminal upon my return did not clearly state which exit to walk to the correct parking lot. The whole airport seemed very undersized for the volume of people using it.

Took me ten minutes to find a space. And then it was in section Q - which meant a long uphill trek when we came back at 10.00 pm in the cold and rain. Never again.

No spaces, and lots of cars were parked in places that were not designated spaces so difficult to manoeuvre around long stay car park.

It took at least 30mins to leave the car park because of very poor road organisation. 3 lanes going into 1 within 15yards of a busy roundabout is madness particularly as all taxis seem to be coming out of this car park too. Our fiends who were in the mid term car park managed to exit 20 minutes before us even though they had to wait to collect hold baggage. Short term parking ended up being a complete waste of money

The parking did its job. But I felt it was very expensive for what it was considering there are other vendors nearby who charge far less. The only reason I used it was because my company paid for it. Also it took an hour to get out of the car park after a long flight home as there was end to end traffic throughout the car park. No sign of anyone from the airport attempting to organise the traffic flow or stop the taxi drivers going up on the pavements to cut back in further down the queues. Also no explanation for why it was so congested or delayed.

On arrival back to Edinburgh the queue in front of me for the bus to the airport was about 50 people. Waited for 10 minutes and no bus came so ended up walking to the car park which is about 10 minutes. Also worth noting not 1 bus passed me on the way there and I went the same road they would use. Will think carefully about using the long term / mid term parking again.

I parked on the surface car park and yesterday it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to get out - why was that? There was no one around to communicate anything. We sat there, doing nothing, knowing nothing and not moving!

Edinburgh airport car parking is very expensive, access tot he multi-story car park should be made easier, having to stop at 2 barriers seems inefficient and takes more time. Being able to pay at the barriers when exiting the car park was a great feature and I fail to see why this facility has been removed. I tend not to use the lift mainly because it is so slow. The doors take a long time to close and moving between floors is painfully slow. Very frustrating when carrying luggage and when in a hurry.

Car park was very busy and we had to park far away from the terminal. Price had dropped by £10 but as I had booked in advance I couldn't change the booking. Lesson not to book in advance.

Constant issues with tickets not reading or reg plate not read. Means hold ups at the exit barrier.

We arrived at airport to find slight damage to car which is beyond airports control drove to gate put ticket in and the machine told us we owed 630 pounds for our stay contacted someone on intercom who asked us for our booking reference and eventually were allowed to go for a process which is drive in and drive out it was a poor result for such a simple process.

Ticket wanted to charge me an additional £360-00 on exiting car park after pre paying and the intercom on exit barrier was not working which meant I needed to leave vehicle to find a way to get assistance however on the plus side it is easy to book and close to terminal

Your car parking is far too expensive, recently the cost of my car parking at your onsite facility cost more than the flight which was taking - crazy.

The lack of signs as to where the mid stay car park when leaving the airport was terrible and as a result it took us over 30 minutes to actually find the car park despite us asking several members of staff. Not one member of staff knew where the mid stay car park was and we were told there was no mid stay car park!! Very poor
