I had to make a late change of flight which was subsequently late. I did not arrive at the car park until 18:55 instead of 16:00 as I had paid for. in the Terminal Surface. Through not fault of my own I could not access a laptop to change my booking, however, I was under the impression my time would have been booked until midnight on the day I arrived home. Not to be, I was charged an extra £13.50 and there was no voice connection at the barrier so I could not challenge the extra charge.. All in all, not a good experience this time.

I paid for Fast Track. This is my first time to EDI and once I got out of my car I followed the bridge to security. I followed the corridor which led to a security desk checking boarding passes, the woman was checking boarding passes from a LONG queue from the other side of the desk, so I waited a fair length of time at my side of the desk before she snapped at me to join the end of the other queue. I thought I had paid for fast track? There were no signs where to go? No idea what this other queue was for and where these people were coming from as they weren't from the car park (as they kept appearing). If I was to join another queue then fine, but this isn't what I thought I was paying for, and it should be clearly signed to prevent the embarassment of being scolded by the security agent. The layout of the fast track takes you straight to this desk - what is the point in the whole system if it is ambiguous and not very "fast". If I was told it was just 10 quid for a covered walkway I wouldn't have bothered.

I had pre paid for one week parking on Terminal Surface. Check in went smoothly with all going as per booking confirmation email. However, exiting did not go so well. The instructions on my confirmation email were to drive up to barrier, insert ticket and hey presto, the barrier would raise. This did not happen. In fact the machine wanted me to pay an additional £47. Pressed help button (when I eventually found it - as it is not labelled at barrier.), took several minutes to get a reply and then they asked for the booking confirmation number. Meanwhile, cars piling up behind us, angry taxi drivers waving arms at us. I then had to stay out of my car to help my father in law with exact same process. My husband had to drive forward to let him through, leaving me to walk in a very congested area (no footpath) with more people shouting and blasting horns at us. Totally humiliating and exhausting experience especially as this was 10pm and still had to drive home to Glasgow!

Hard to find correct parking for someone not used to the city parked in wrong place for the week luckily the attendant let me away without paying the£140 the machine was asking for once I gave him my reference number to prove I had paid to park in advance in the terminal parking thanks for being so understanding of my mistake cheers guys

Flight was delayed and we got charged extra. We tried to contact the operator and email the company but with no joy. Seems to be no compassion but just a money making scheme.

Miss-leading postcode for satnav places the unwary traveler at 'drop-off', not the correct parking zone; complete lack of useful road signage for visitors, travelers and tourists alike - particularly if English is not your first language; automated ticket system was impersonal; online booking was confusing and after spending time on the continent my return home was marred by uneven surfaces to push the trolley on, lack of helpful signage to locate my vehicle and an error in the booking system that required I locate the booking reference number - not present on the ticket. My advice? Park in Livingston and get a taxi both ways - save yourself £50.

Had to remove all passengers and baggage before I could actually park due to the tight space. Searched for 13mins before I found a space. The machine demanded £47 on my exit as it did not recognise that I had paid. I paid about £60 for this car car park online. Should of not did it online and it would have been cheaper

We had pre-paid but on exiting the surface car park and inserting ticket we were asked to pay £162.50 as the machine apparently hadn't photographed our number plate properly on the way in. I paid and then had to call the ticket office to get a refund which I hope will be credited to my credit card in 2 days as promised.

Infrastructure is not appropriate at busy times. It took 40 minutes to get out of the surface car park with too many cars trying to get onto 1 exit road

It took 45 mins to get out of the surface parking 4 lanes all fighting to get out of 1 lane for exiting. There was no staff on show so a total free for all with no tickets being checked the Edinburgh taxis pushing through as aggressively as you would expect. Why they exit through the car park now I really can't imagine..Overall a very disappointing experience.

Upon departuring and presenting pre paid ticket I was asked for a further payment. This doesn't seem very fair or transparent. Aside from this access and space was excellent.
