“There were a lot of roadworks going on (1 June), so it wasn't as easy to navigate around the car park as usual, and there were only a handful of spaces left in the far corner. Bus service was excellent.”
“It is next to the airport but could easily be a 15-20 min walk depending on where you manage to get a space! Poorly signed for free spaces - it took us 15 mins to find a space but we had a booked this parking to save time. It was a good job we weren't running late - we commented that it would have been faster to park off site and get a transfer bus!”

There was a postcode or coordinates for the long stay car park. Alternatively the signs need to be clearer.
There was some way to control how people board the bus at the terminal with those going to later drop off points getting on first. Unfortunately the current system results in chaos when people try to disembark at the early drop off points having to fight past passengers who are getting off later.”
“I was lucky in that I was able to get a space quickly in a very full car park. My return flight was 2 hours late but I received no extra charge which was good.”
“Parking near the terminal is ideal, however when I booked Fast Track, it was because, although not disabled, I was having difficulty walking. Unlike Glasgow Airport that has dedicated Fast Track parking, Edinburgh's is just a free for all. I ended up two floors above the Fast Track bridge, which was not helpful. Also on our return discovered that there is no way to access the Fast Track bridge back to the car park, unlike Glasgow. Not only could you not get direct access to the car park, I had to walk a considerable distance past the direct access door, which was closed, to then walk back the way to cross to the car park.”
“Love the ability to park so close to the terminal. My only issue is when you purchase parking in the multi storey, you automatically receive 'Fast track' through security - bonus right! Until you arrive at security and the queue for people who haven't purchased fast track, are given priority over you. I have never been through when the person checking the boarding passes has actually acknowledged that you are there, ultimately, you have to just step in and receive dirty looks from passengers who think you've skipped the queue. Needs sorting!!”
“Everything was fine until leaving, after prepaying for the a week parking to be confronted with a £280 charge!!
Thankfully after speaking to the assistant I was let through but was a bit scary at the time”

“Booking on line was no problem however actually finding a parking space in the long stay car park on the day was extremely difficult as there were only 2 or 3 spaces available at 11 am in the morning and already other cars had been forced to park out with a proper parking spaces. I did not expect having booked well in advance to have such s problem parking. If you park here make sure you give yourself plenty of time.”
“Normally I'm very happy with parking at the airport. But this time there was a sign saying the main part of the terminal surface car park was full so we had to park in another area further away. As I walked through the car park there were loads of free spaces - not just a couple. It's frustrating when you have little time to catch a flight early in the morning”
“My car was secure and it was a short trip to the terminal. What I did not like is the fact it cost me £40.99 to park for 2 days!! This was a last minute emergency trip to Italy, and the cost of parking shocked me! It should be ALOT cheaper and a choice of cost per day. Puts me off every booking again or recommending to anyone as it is daylight robbery”
