“Chose on-site parking as thought we would be close to terminal but on arrival a notice informed us that the nearest parking was full so proceeded to ‘R’ . Not ideal for us with luggage and a small walking child. When we reached the nearest parking discover lots of spaces!!! Better no notice rather than false information!”
“I purchased a space online in the Mid Term Car Park and received an order acknowledgement and reference number. On arrival there was a car already at the entrance barrier with driver discussing entry with an operator (via the ticket machine interface.) The driver in front was refused entry and had to reverse out of the entry zone. I approached and pressed the button and noted to the operator that I had purchased online - The barrier opened and I entered and parked. All good. On return three days later I retrieved my car and went to leave but the barrier would not rise. I discussed 'with a very grumpy operator' who advised I should have a ticket to leave. Nothing about this when you purchase online and only after a lengthy interrogation would he let me leave making me late for my daughters degree show opening. There needs to be a way for people that purchase online to be served better at the entry and exit points.”
“it didn't really. booked online and arrived to joint queue of cars trying to get into the long stay car park? My wife jumped out of the car to ask the driver of the car at the barrier what the problem was, he said he had been told that the car park was full and we were all to go to the mid stay car park? my wife then ran down the queue of other cars gathered there to inform them. Wont be back....”
“Easy to find and frequent bus pickup. Downside, struggled to find place to park car, lots of cars parked in unauthorised places indicting that it was at max. Limit during the day and therefore more time spent going round and round. This was pre booking 6 months earlier. I have not experienced this before at this car park facility. Glad I left plenty of time to eventually find a proper parking bay.”
“Valet parking was very good until leaving airport. Had to wait several minutes until intercom was answered at drop off exit and gate subsequently opened which resulted in cars (drivers) behind me get very impatient and sounding their horns.”
