“Booked on line no problem. Price was good for the 11 days I was there. Trouble was when I came to exit the car park I entered my ticket and it told me the cost was £442. I then had to reverse from the exit machine with great difficulty annoying the people waiting. After great difficulty at the pay point I managed to get someone to sort the problem. Why after booking the parking months in advance had I this problem”
“Prebooking works well. Navigating the airport seems to change every time I visit. Directions in the multi storey could be better. As you drive up into the car park you can't see which level you are on, and if you've paid for the Fast Track access, you have to drive into a floor to see if you are on the right one. I don't use the drop off facility but think it's very poor to be charging for tiny amounts of time given flights and people getting through arrivals can be disrupted.”
“The facility is fine, car was secure, the bus connecting to the terminals was frequent.
But there is not a lot of free spaces and one has to spare a considerable amount of time
to find a free parking space. Overall a good experience at a very competitive price.”
“Bus came pretty promptly getting to the terminal, on return though bit of a wait and pretty crowded, however there was a lot of congestion so it was understandable. Getting out of car park to main road took almost as long as the flight from Luton itself. Road system needs improvement”
“Parking was close to the Airport, however expensive compared to our parking nearby. Also put the ticket in the machine and the machine advised money was to be paid. Had to go to the help desk in the other car park to have the matter sorted, adding an extra 15 minutes getting out of the airport.”
“The airport parking itself is very good and bus driver was very nice to and from airport .Buse service every ten mins so really handy.would defo park there again.My only complaint was as we arrived as we had pre booked we were unsure is we took ticket so buzzed for help we asked the guy who very sarcastically said "if its telling you to to take a ticket take a ticket ." No explanation of what we dis with it.We only were asking as the last time we parked there we took a ticket and when we put it in machine at end of trip it said we owed something like £120 for 3 days even though we had already pre paid and that made us panic slightly andwe had to buzz to ask about it.This time we did not go to the machine just put card in on way out which worked fine.My point being people are not mind readers and if someone buzzes to politely ask it would be nice to receive a simple explanation not a sarcastic non answer.so really clearer instructions amd less sarcastic staff would have got this a 10 out of 10 review”
“It took me quite a while to find a space on the Friday morning, I was glad I got there a bit early, would hate to be cutting it fine. The bus appeared relatively quickly though. On the way home at about 8pm there seemed to be quite a wait for a bus.”
“Easy to find and park - 0nline price was good
Problem for me was there were no luggage trolleys available in the car park so I had a reasonably long walk with my 2 cases and was exhausted when I got to the terminal. In hindsight I could have walked to the terminal building and walked back with a trolley to pick up my luggage but i didn't have the time”
“Car parking was fairly close to the terminal although the path between the carpark and terminal was effectively walking through a building site.
Fairly high price for parking.”
“Location is good being close to airport. But signage for new return bus stop (A) not great. I had to climb in passenger side to get back in car because of bad parking and glad I reversed in my space as cars parked on roadway out with spaces would have made it a nightmare to get out again. I was against fence area 30 with about 12 inches between car alongside. Not ideal.”
“Easy to book online and very reasonable prices, great free drop off to the airport. I was less than happy to come back to my car a week later to find an Arnold Clark bright yellow and black sticker plastered over the bonnet of my car - I am presuming this is known to you, and if not it might be worth investigating - this is not acceptable”
