“The drop off and pick up systems were efficient.
The parking bays for pick up are far too tight. It is impossible to load luggage into the car boot without moving the car out of the bay.
Was charged £7 to leave the car park!! Doubt if I will use again.”
“I booked, and paid for, a 5 day stay in the Med-Stay carpark. The barrier was supposed to raise automatically when I drove up, but it didn't, so I pressed the communication button. The man who answered had no record of my booking (I gave him the booking ref number) but he let me in and said that he would make a note for when it was time for me to go.
When I came to the exit a few days later, the machine told me I owwed £220. I pressed the communication button: still no record of my booking or my conversation and there were several cars queued up behind me. It was incredibly stressful (why is there only 1 exit?). The man was very kind and calm and raised the barrier to set me free (it wasn't his fault at all. He was very helpful). I will not use this car park again. It was very stressful.”
“Arrived to be told I'd been "upgraded" to terminal parking. All the valet rows were full so I assuming something had gone wrong and they didn't have room for any more. Very disapointing as I had deliberately booked valet for a companion with mobility issues. I had to drop them off while I drove around looking for space and again leave them on return while I got the car and drove back to collect them. On the way out the barrier mistakenly requested > £450 for the parking so I had to press the button and explain the situation before I was let out. I will be going back to Secure Airparks again as I've never once had a problem with them over many years of being a customer.”
“The Barrier on entry did not open with pre-booked parking which it should. Had to take manual ticket the try to explain days later on coms his I had pre booked to avoid double paying. Most of the pay meters around the park don't work.”

For the 2nd time in the past year, number plate recognition failed and I had to take a ticket from the machine to get in. After 3 days away, I put the ticket in the machine at the out gate, £120 flashed up. Sorted after I called office on the intercom but should not happen.
Also, I paid the extra fee for fast track security, the person minding the fast track queue initially said I couldn't go in even after I showed the print out, then tried to say I could go through but not my three grandsons! Utterly ludicrous! I did get them through with me but only after I strongly insisted.
I am happy to include my contact details here, I think we ought to be given a refund.

“Booked car parking online. Arrived at car park but car registration not recognised. Told to take ticket and problem would be rectified on entry.
On return, same problem. Told I was due to pay £180 for two night stay!
Very patronising gentleman on intercom eventually let me proceed claiming they had no record of my booking despite me having received a confirmation email and having paid for the online booking.
Disappointing service. Would be interested to find out what went wrong on this occasion please.”
“We parked our car for a week, my husband is disabled, when we arrived we were lucky to be picked up at the electric car area, where we had parked our car!
On return from our holiday we waited 15/20mins for the bus to plane parking!
When I asked driver about stops and explained my husband’s disability he said there’s two stops that all, it’s not a personal bus service! He was very rude, and grumpy!
We were dropped at a far away bus stop, which makes no sense if you park your car near the entrance/exit, and my husband had a long walk to our car, with his walked, and I had 2 large suitcases and 2 small ones! It was a struggle, I couldn’t even leave my husband at the bus stop and go back for him in the car as it’s a entrance and exit only, nowhere for me to turn my car!
I would say this car park is overpriced for what it is.
You could benefit from more bus stops in the car park, and friendlier drivers”
“Pre paid for my parking. When I put the ticket in the machine to leave it said I had to pay £180.
Managed to speak to someone on the intercom who asked me details then let me out but there was a queue of annoyed people behind me so felt stressful.”
“I have used the pre-paid multistorey many times and have been very happy with the service as i offered quick and convenient access to the airport, and with the Fast track security option I would normally be less than 20 minutes from car to gates.
Ths time, however I arrived to a full Multistorey and despite leel 3 LEDs indicating 74 spaces there were none available. I circled the entire 5 stories for over 30 minutes and eventually had to park in a Blue badge space on the roof.
I had to run through the terminal and only made my flight with minutes to spare.
Albeit no fine was given it did make me worry for my entire trip wether I would come back to a clamped car or a fine.
I really hope this was a one-off but will make me think twice about using the service again.”

Negative - prebooked spaces oversold so nearly missed my flight for work driving for ages looking for a space
Positive - team on the ticket boom help button really great in helping park me somewhere else in multi-storey. Empowered to be customer focused
The person wandering around in the high vis jacket not helpful at all - not keen to sort the problem
Suggestion: in holiday times please ensure staff in parking area can help pre book customers get parked asap.”
“Arrived back at 7pm at reception from long trip on plane. Then informed our car keys were not ready and not in box. Got involved in a wait for an assistant who appeared more interested in conversation with someone who appeared to have lost their car !! Waited and waited - others customers in same boat arriving. Very stressful. Eventually keys came from the office and they clearly had not been put in box timeously. Cannot understand delay as a slow Monday evening where there should not have been any real pressure”
“Car drop off was totally fine, however collection was a shambles. The photo attached was what we were greeted with upon arrival back to collect our car, in total there were around 80 people waiting to collect their car. The staff couldn’t tell us how long it would take to have our car back. This was at 2.30am in the morning, we also had a one year old with us which was why we booked the fast park in the first place. We had been told that some people had waited around 3 hours to collect their car!”
“Arrived back From Chambery and the staff didnt have the car ready must have been 10 people waiting on there cars whilst the drivers were scrambling trying to find them.”
“Came off flight early in the morning to find queues of people waiting for there cars which were not on site. Only staff member there couldn't tell us how long it would take our cars to get there , couldn't give us any information as we had our 2 year old granddaughter with us , we couldn't wait for hours so after 30 minutes we caught a taxi to a hotel and had to pick up our cars later that day for the 120 mile trip home . Basically terrible customer service from the person in charge. Also left them with a nice clean car . Don't know where they park them but came back very dirty. Generally not good and I'm out of pocket for taxis , hotel etc”
“We were booked into fast park - Our car was not ready on arrival - there seemed to be a significant delay due to a lack of staff. We had a very late flight and had to wait circa 30 minutes on our car. This was happening to a number of people in the early hours of Sunday the 6th April. Also whether it be the multi storey or fast park my car always gets stopped and the system asks me to pay extra charges on exit.”

Return was shambolic no keys ready. Car nowhere to be seen.

The guy in the office had no clue and couldn't say when this would be resolved.
I eventually got my car returned directly from one of the drivers after nearly an hour's wait. I don't know what caused this and hopefully it's a one off.
I will have to think twice before booking fast park in the future.”
“Drop of was very smooth and easy!
Pick up wasn't great, went to collect our keys to be told they weren't ready. We were then left waiting 20 minutes with our two 7 year olds and 6 month old at 1am.”
