“Very hard to find a space and despite prebooking and paying in advance the exit asked for £120 on exit...and the help button took ages to answer...no apology just opened barrier....should be straightforward but somewhat stressful!”
“Very difficult to find a space and cars park on the roads instead of spaces. For the cost it should be easier to get a space if you’re lucky enough to get one. Also scratches on car from people walking by”
“Came back to find the rear window of the car (double cab pickup) smashed in. Reported it to the office who said they'd send someone to check. No one arrived, so drove down to the ground floor to speak to the office staff. They admitted they had seen it on cctv. No help apparently. Very poor show.”
“That was very easy to book space for two days stay, easy payment. Everything was ok till the moment when I wanted to leave. I used my ticket and the amount which was showed was three times higher that what I payied. Everything was sorted quick but still there were some miscommunication and unwanted stresses after holidays.”
“Hi, fed up pre booking my stay, paying for it in advance then getting stopped as I leave asking for money. This time it £100 for 1 night in a mid stay...how many poor unsuspecting souls pay it in a panic. I don't blame the technology as it happens every time! Rip off!!”
“Parked our Audi Q5 in the multi storey as usual. On Return from a 7 day trip found that somebody has scraped all the driver side back corner of the car. No message left they must have just drove off. Not sure we will use multi storey again.”
“Confusing entry was as described on website. I had paid online but then charged £130 on exit. Although this was resolved at time it was confusing and stressful.”
“Thought it would be like Glasgow you pay to reserve a space and put your ticket in and you are in a seperate level that no one else can access unless they have paid for reserved space,no we eventually got a parking space after driving every level and ended up on the very top floor.”
“Booked the charging spaces at Edinburgh airport terminal surface but when I arrived no charging spaces were available. It does say they can’t be guaranteed but why have 2 different booking options in that case?? Very unreliable and won’t be booking again. Will get taxi in future as this meant after 2 days away at work and landing at 8pm, I then had to wait a further 30mins at a nearby charging station before I could get home.”
“Very convenient in all but 1 key aspect.
As usual, on inserting my ticket to exit the car park I was asked for a payment of £240.
Leaves a sour taste.”
“Poor experience. Charged way above the amount I initially paid on exit, and had to contact services to get out without paying. Not even a sorry from the service area . Poor.”
“Fine but please could the drivers stop adjusting settings in the cars and take more care? Seat back and forward I understand but seat height, lumbar support, AC and heating settings etc being changed just feels totally unnecessary and a complete pain to sort out again! Also have had scratches appear on the bumpers etc on previous visits!”
“No problems until time to exit car park. Followed exit signs and wound up at a gate we didn’t have a ticket for so pushed button for ticket and went to next gate to be charged 7 pounds to get out!! After a long day with flight delays we paid it and left. Lighting not very good in car park either as if there were other signs on the road to right exit we didn’t see them!”
“I paid for parking for 4 days prior to my trip. On arrival at terminal parking, it’s wasn’t very well sign posted causing some anxiety. I asked a staff member for directions to terminal parking which he provided. Everything seemed fine until we were exiting the car park. I put the ticket in the machine and was advised there was an outstanding balance of £180 to pay. The staff member I spoke to on the Intercom system didn’t advise of why this would be the case, a further ticket was printed and the barrier raised. As you can imagine this was quite anxiety provoking.”
“Arriving with heavy cases and with assisted travel booked I was disappointed to not be able to find a luggage trolley anywhere on the floor. The ludicrous money grabbing policy of now charging for trolleys probably accounts for this. This policy does not do Edinburgh Airport any favours and should be dropped immediately. Ih the past there have always been trolleys available left by other passengers who have used them to return to their cars. Apart from this I would have rated the facility with 5 stars.”
