Customers are smoking openly in the covered area waiting for the transfer bus to the Long Stay Car Park. The area is draughty and wet and thoroughly unpleasant. Also more should be done to improve the flow through the terminal reception area doors where there is a conflict between incoming and outgoing passengers.

Parked at surface car park which is only a short walk from the terminal so no bus shuttle needed. However you really must book on line in advance otherwise the price is astronomical- about 8x more expensive if no prior booking. To get 5 stars improve the signage please -on line it’s called the surface carpark but not signposted as that until the last sign before entering.Lastly on this occasion the number plate recognition did not work. The buttons to press for assistance on the exit ticket posts at the barriers need to be larger and illuminated so they can be found at night.Once I found the button the attendant was extremely helpful and was swiftly able to permit my exit.

For goodness sake, clean the path from the mid-stay (or should it be the mud-stay?) car park to the terminal. Not best pleased to start my journey by waking through a midden.

Parking is fine but this visit, similar to most other visits the exit barrier does not recognise the fact that I have pre paid.

We used the long stay parking. Upon exit the system was broken. The machines tried to charge me £350 pounds for my stay. With no apology at all I was told just go to the barrier and buzz. I had to wait until 3 other cars got through before I spoke to someone. I wasn’t buzzed through properly. I waited again as only one person at a time could be seen to. When I finally got to me again there was no apology and I was made to feel it was my fault for it not working. Unfortunately as it’s the only close parking to the airport I have no choice but to use it again.

Easy booking and parking, excellent value, good access to the terminal. Spoilt by not recognising my ticket and stating I owed £185. However quickly resolved by assistance at the exit barrier

Very close to the Terminal building which was handy. However , was very alarmed to drive to the barrier, put the ticket in and be asked for 130 pounds so that I could get out. I pressed the help button and the lady who sorted it was lovely but in panic I had first reversed out of the way upsetting a lot of drivers to make a phone call and see if the secretary who had booked it for me knew how it worked. Not ideal so would be a good idea to check that it links up properly with the barrier.

Nice idea the mid stay with the 10 minute walk, but during the winter months its not a pleasant walk & they need to sort out the mud where you have to cross the road. Cases & bags all mud splattered which isn’t ideal! No issues with the car park.

Disappointed to come back to find a corner of the car scratched although the car was well within the bay parking lines. Would be nice if there was a way to trace the car or person who did it with the CCTV the airport probably have.

The parking was good value and very convenient. However as a frequent user I am frustrated that the exit process for prepaid parking does not work satisfactorily. All to often when I insert the ticket it says a huge sum is due. I have to seek the assistance of an operator who then asks for my booking reference and then my car registration and eventually I am allowed to continue. This was particularly unsatisfactory on the evening of Sat 27th Jan around 1730 when I had to talk to two separate operators over a ten minute period with the car window open and heavy rain blowing in for the duration, I then had to endure a further two hour drive soaked by the experience. Not very good.......

We use Valet parking which is very convenient. At present the airport is undergoing a lot of alterations and there seems to be a different route (poorly marked ) each time we visit. The exits from the drop off area are very narrow and I am surprised we have not had a scrape we try to ensure we bring our smaller car to park . The barrier used to enter the area of valet parking could do with some extra lighting .We now know it is there but it can be difficult to make it out at certain times of the day. We are going to price up a taxi run as the parking can be expensive.
