“There are no bus transfers to the airport terminal, which I already knew. But they never mentioned there are also no pavements along the roads and that you are supposed to walk back to the entrance of the car park to get out.
There are very few signs giving directions for pedestrians, and the footpath route is not the shortest route to the terminal.”

Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them.
The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations.

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Location great but when we arrived there was no parking spaces, many cars were parked on double yellow lines. This was clearly due to timing as the car park had more spaces when we left. However given we specify arrival time it was frustrating how long we spent looking for a space before being forced to leave the car at ‘make do’ space.”

“Car park is very difficult to find with very little signage in place. I stopped a local taxi driver who wasn’t sure how to get to it but he did say many people had a problem finding it. I inadvertently entered drop off area which cost £4 to escape, again no clear signage visible. I eventually found the entrance more by luck than design. Once I found it everything was fine”

“re express parking(?) approach to photo booth poorly laid out, so Q for first booth and second empty. person on duty visually doing stop sign so unclear when to push poorly visible exit button, surely traffic light system would be better. not too bad re leaving key but why enter flight details there, surely do that as part of booking process. on collecting key ok but bay flashed up very quickly and then disappeared.

“On this trip, half of the terminal spaces were cordoned off for no apparent reason, making it very difficult to find a space (pre-booked). I also find the spaces very narrow, making the cars very close together, which can be an issue at an airport if your bags are in the back of the car as well as the boot, as there is insufficient space to open car doors (even to just get out of the car) without danger of banging the car next to you. Although I'm hyper-careful not to touch other cars, contorting myself into all sorts of weird positions while alighting my car to squeeze myself out without opening the door fully, I'm never very confident that I will come back to my car without it being dinged on both sides.”

“I am a regular user of the Multi-storey car park. Unfortunately the last couple of times I have used the facility it has been impossible to find a blue badge space. Relative to the total number of spaces there are very few blue badge spaces. My husband has Parkinson's so it makes things extremely difficult. “I did not park as my car went for an MOT.
However, as you are part of Edinburgh Airport, perhaps you can forward this next piece.
My EasyJet flight arrived from 30C Palma de Mallorca to Edinburgh's 10C and the pouring rain, for a walk from the aircraft to the Terminal, only to find that we were locked out.
There were some guys in red waistcoats, who just looked at us as we knocked on the door, and then carried on talking to each other, ignoring us! As there were young children on the flight left in the rain for 20 minutes. I was seriously unimpressed with the Duty of Care that was missing and would not be surprised if I am not the only person who had to have a hot 'LemSip' cold remedy later.”

“We use this parking reguarly and never have any problems. This time when we booked online we were not made aware that there was work being carried out in the area we booked to park. “With no bus doing the rounds of the parking area, everyone tries to park as near to the walk-through gate as possible. Cars are left on walkways and blocking turns.
The entrance to the walkway gate is not clearly marked, and neither is the walk-way it's self. It's a bit 'aim for the terminal, and risk life and limb dodging between cars, both parked and moving. The rest of the car park is regularly relatively empty, but who wants to risk a long walk in the rain?”

“Entry into the fast park was very easy as was the access to the terminal.
On leaving it was a long walk from arrivals back to the car park. The signs for the car parking bay were not clear. Especially after a long flight and arriving in the early hours. Exiting the car park was not as easy as entering it as there is no direct exit from fast park.”
