“Fast Park is fab, easy and quick to park your car, leave your keys before your holiday. Right next to the terminal building, there is usually staff available if you need assistance. Easy directions for return pick up with the lockers and car ready for collection for a straight getaway. Excellent and value for money.”
“After arriving at the parking lot at the booked time, two hours before the scheduled time, it turned out that there was no parking space for my car. I drove for 30 minutes and then had to leave the car in a spot where I could park on the curb, because if I kept looking for a free space, I would not have made it in time for my flight. It's bad that you sell tickets and don't have space for people, thanks.”
“Used Fastpark for the first time. Staff on site were very helpful upoon arrival. Wee bit stressful upon return as I had lost my small paper receipt. Fortunately, once again, a very friendly attendant helped. Small paper receipts when you are delaing with passports, etc., are maybe not the best idea.”
“This review is specifically for the terminal parking.
I use Edinburgh airport multi story multiple times every month for business purposes. On average I’ll use the multi story 20 times per year.
This most recent time, I chose the terminal parking to go on holiday. The car park was pre booked and paid for but on arrival the car park was completely full.
I can’t understand why pre booking is an option if you can also just pull up to this particular car park on the day? I’m unclear how the airport monitors the amount of vehicles in this car park if you can pre book and also drive in on the same day without a booking.
This lead to me circling the car park for 20 minutes creating a stressful situation (given that we wanted to be inside checking in to our holiday). If I pre book a space I expect to find a space when I arrive. Given the £170 I paid for 10 days of use. This isn’t good enough.”
“On arrival I was told there were no available disabled parking spaces, so I'd have to park further away from the check-in point. We did as asked, but when we walked from our car park space to the main building there were multiple (at least 5) disabled parking spaces available out front.
As a person with mobility issues, this wasn't really a great start. The whole point of me using this car park is to limit the amount of walking I need to do on travel day. To be told there are no spaces, when there clearly are, is unnaceptable. Staff should be checking this more thouroughly and not making assumptions.”
