Website would only allow parking in Mid stay and there was no explanation of why long stay was unavailable . Cost was high at about £15 a day and when I left the car park the barrier would not open and I received a demand for £180 to leave. I was allowed out after spending a few mins on the intercom and was fortunate that I had my booking reference with me to allow my exit in discussion with the operator.

We booked in at the long stay parking and spent a good 20 mins looking for / waiting for a parking space. It was a bit shambolic with cars roaming around searching for spaces. Never again - use the private parks. Check in area gets very crowded - it's also the entrance area. Looking for 'Arrivals' signs can be difficult if you miss the one outside as you go in - then international arrivals and domestic arrivals are in opposite directions, so you have to guess which way to go....

Very disappointed. Prebooked car park place wasn't available. No signage for fast track security. Unfriendly staff at all stages.

For the third time this year, my ticket was faulty, delaying my departure from the airport again. Feeder buses hopless and as usual end walking more quickly since park is such a long walk from the terminal, plus there is shelter from the scottish weather very poor Customer service very poor

I was recently asked to collect a relative who was flying into Edinburgh Airport. I thought all I would have to do was look for something like a "short stay" car park or even "pick up" area. It turned out there is a complete plethora of meaningless signs, but nothing to say where you should go to collect passengers arriving at the airport. I eventually entered and left the airport three times before I abandoned the car (not in a "proper" space) and walked into the terminal. I have since discovered that many other people have had similar experiences. Your parking system, as it is at the moment, is a complete shambles. Try looking up the internet and you will find many similar opinions!

Mid-stay carpark has many problems. Much to far to walk in the rain ! Too hilly! Too many dark corners! Barriers poorly positioned. At least one dead end. No trollrys. No place for trolleys. No zones to know where you have left your car. Approach from carpark does not lead to departure desks! Never again. Approach from carpark does not

Very expensive, and car parking charges are too variable depending on what "offer" is available on the day (usually involving spending more)

We pre-paid for multi-storey parking, to make sure we were under cover and to get the included fast track security channel. However on arriving, the multi-storey was full and closed off and the surface short-stay car park was completely packed, with not a space to be found. We drove round for ages and ended up parking on a grassy area off the road or else we were going to miss our flight. They should reserve parking for pre-paid - the parking areas are too small at Edinburgh now for the numbers flying from there and unless they solve it, I think this is going to be an on-going issue.

The car park was full and I had to wait for a passenger to leave before being able to park. The number of spaces for online booking needs to be limited.

Had prepaid my parking thinking there would be a guaranted space when I arrived. On arrival the park I thought I was parking in had signs up full, directed me to another park beside which was totally full. By this time I had lost 15 mins into my arrival time of 2 hours before take off. Decided to go to the barrier to find another park and couldn't get out. Spoke through intercom and was told there were parking spaces in the original park. What a joke . I went round and round again for another 10 mins and had to actually get my wife to stand at a car where people were leaving to get the space. Arrived at check -in 25 mins later than expected. Thankfully the security section was quite quiet and got swiftly through. On arrival back at Edinburgh at the car park at 2.15 , got to barrier put my card in barrier and was told I owed £265.00 . Spoke to the gentleman on the intercom who seemed to have an attitude problem and gave me the impression I had disturbed his sleep. He eventually found the details that I had already paid. I have used your parking facilities at Edinburgh for at least 20 years. Will I use them again?

Airport parking was excellent, however on returning to the airport I can only express my dismay and disgust at the cleanliness of the toilets in the arrivals hall. To say they smelt and were disgusting would be an understatement. Having flown in from Penang, KL & Doha which was so clean, to arrive in the country's capital with disgusting toilets and a less than adequate arrivals hall in my opinion was unacceptable.

Having always paid my parking online beforehand, more times than not, my registration is not picked up on entry meaning that I cannot exit the car park without speaking to an attendant. Very time consuming and embarrassing as a queue usually builds up behind me. Not slick at all.

When I was leaving the carpark the barrier did not rise until I found the ticket( in my bag in the dark in the back seat of the car) and put it in the machine. On your website you state that you have car registration recognition system. It worked on the way in but not on the way out!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Regards John dixon

Having left home in plenty of time I was tight for time due to road works. Unfortunately it took me ages to find a space. I drive a landrover discovery so I need all my box space. It took me a while to find a space and one where the other cars were both within their box. To cut a long story short I missed my flight to join my son and his family in Poland. As you can imagine I found the whole experience stressful and disappointing.

Normally the long stay car park is an excellent facility however on this occasion it was chaotic, overcrowded and cars were parked on roads as well as poorly within bays. If we encounter this again we will consider using another car park or form of transport.

Drop off from transfer bus isn't very close to the terminal, and on return the long stay transfer bus stop isn't sign posted at all.
