“Close to terminal and reasonably priced. However the spaces were not designed for modern cars and you were jammed in between two others. Also signposts were poor. But st the end of the day you have no choice so just try and find a corner spot.”
“To start could not enter then on departure the machine told us they wanted £280 it was resolved quickly enough great for closness to terminal and a good price will use again just get these hiccups sorted”
“Easy to book and parking was ok. However, usual surface car park was full and was directed to zones R and S. As a result ticket issued at gate did not have reg no on and was therefore not validated for exit. Sent email early Thursday am asking how to fix this. Still no reply by Monday pm and I returned home Sunday.”
“A bit confusion in finding car park and on leaving car park inserted ticket into machine and asked for the sum of over £110 when I payed on booking was a bit of a shock but phoned for help and the gentleman sorted it out just as well I had booking info with me”
“Car park is conveniently located. Parking ticket as booked on internet did not however function correctly. I required to contact help desk to allow me to exit. Not very satisfactory.”
“Fastrack parking adjacent to the terminal building is very convenient but the promised fastrack security wasn’t open when I arrived at 6.40 a.m.; it apparently doesn’t open until 7 a.m. but security was already busy with large numbers of staff and air crew going through at that time, so there was no benefit there. On exiting the carpark a notice came up sayuing “STOP. You owe £60”, which was nonsense and easily corrected by pressing the button for assistance. So it was a mixed experience for me.”
“Good price and easy to park and get to airport. However had a much longer wait for a bus on our return - other companies had done pick ups before our bus even arrived. Due to long wait was then very busy. Neither ideal when travelling with two young children and arriving after 10pm”
“Having previously used Edinburgh Airport Parking I've been generally very happy with the price and terminal transport provided where needed. However, my flight recently was cancelled (less than 24hrs notice due to forecast bad whether at the destination), and I was told by Edinburgh Airport Parking that they do not give refunds, but that EasyJet would - EasyJet said they would not however... so I had to claim on my travel insurance... who thankfully where a lot more helpful than either the parking or airline... I'm not complaining about the service and company policies, rather just warning people that travel insurance is way more helpful in cases of cancellation than parking or airlines will be.”
“The car park I used is right next to the terminal and has a direct walkway into it. So very convenient!
It is however, catastrophically and immorally expensive. This car park epitomises corporate theft, taking advantage of the little guy. I parked there only because of the threat of snow and your inability to clear the non-covered car parks of any accumulated snow. Your prices are horrible and Edinburgh Airport management should hangs it's head in shame.”
“Easy vehicle access and short walk to terminal.
However, when leaving the exit barrier informed me £385 due (on a pre-booked/paid ticket!). Cue unecessary post travelling stress of reversing back from barrier and communicating remotely with staff at ticket machines. Apparently “not reading” my car’s number plate (which was clean, etc). Resolved of course, but a frustrating 10 mins.”
“Parking was easy,however when I picked up car there were trolleys lying around the aisles that could easily have blown or rolled into someone's parked car?One was inches from mine.Not the quality I would have expected for a much lauded company.”
