“Pre booked the mid stay in June, issues with access to car park!
Pre booked this recent stay and had issues exiting the car park this time!
This really need addressed as it causes unnecessary delays at the barriers.”
“Booking online was fine, but it would be helpful if it was made clear that you do not have to press the button for a ticket as this will just confuse the system as I found out. On exit I was presented with a message stating I needed to pay £180!
A chat with an attendant over the intercom and all was quickly sorted, but a better explanation of the entry and exit procedure is needed as previously you were given a ticket on entry that you then put back in the machine on exit.”
“Easy to miss the signs - so ended up in Long stay by mistake and a potential £60 extra charge to the £19 for the day, however the attendant very graciously let us out, will probably book long stay next time but glad to say operators are very fair.”
“Found it difficult to find location although parking staff at fast park very helpful in redirecting us to the plane parking where our slot was booked. On arrival not a lot of spaces left, probably 1 or 2 to be honest. Fortunetly found a space close to the shuttle bus stop. Very strapped for time by the time the bus came and it waited longer than I felt required before heading over to airport and it does not stop as close to the airport as I thought had advertised although this may have only been an issue as again we had little time to get in and make it to security. Overall I would recommend plane parking just make sure you leave yourself plenty time and familiarise yourself with the location of plane parking as sat nav only brings to to Edinburgh Airport entrance area.”
