“Very happy with my first time experience with Fastpark at Edinburgh airport.
On arrival, the carpark was well signposted and key collection was straight forward.
On return, there were no issues with collection of the keys and finding the car.”
“Best part was being able to drop our luggage the night before. Just as well as the bus from the car park had no luggage facilities, was not the usual bus. We had a baby in a buggy which had dedicated space, was full of luggage and people not happy with us getting the buggy in! Didn’t feel safe surrounding by swaying cases and loads of folk surrounding it. Because of this on the return, with luggage this time, one of us went to get the car then pay to return into the airport to pick up everyone and everything else. Good decision, there was no way we could all get on the bus with the baby, it was so busy, even bothered it couldn’t pick everyone up at one go! Folk were even being rude to the driver for no reason. Perhaps it’s was just this time of year as have used this parking before with no issues at all. First time taking a baby and lots of luggage, I’d easily use again myself but think twice if a family travelling”
“I arrived back at Edinburgh airport on Friday 2nd December at 8pm after having been away for 3 weeks and travelling for around 20hours. On scanning my ticket at the fast park key pick-up Itgave me a message that my keys were not ready and that I should contact reception. I looked around for any signs to reception and all I could see was a door with a sign saying ring bell for assistance. I rang the bell more that half a dozen times without anyone answering. After 10 minutes of waiting and standing around I went looking around the car park for some assistance when I finally found someone they could speak very limited English and couldn’t really understand what I was asking. I then by default followed the chap to a window at the side of the building - where he had a conversation with the chap inside, not in English I may add. Then the chap went into the building and came out 5mins later with my key I assumed as his hand signal was to point to the lanes as he walked in that direction. At no point was anything said to me about what was going on and when I asked what the issue had been the answer I received in broken English was one word ‘busy’. I then said that was no excuse and again this the person did not seem to understand.
This was an incredibly poor experience and based on this I will not be using the service again and will be advising others to avoid it at all costs.”
“Can't beat Fast Park at Edinburgh Airport,so convient only a short walk to the terminal. Car always ready when your flight arrives. Only slight down side, it's a bit pricy.”
“Very helpful being to park so close to the building. It want too clear what the acessibilty options were due to having someone in a wheelchair on the car but on return our car was right beside the key locker so very pleased with that. Frustratingly getting a luggage trolley was quite a distance from the car and having to pay for 2 was less than ideal when they are free at most other airports”
“Got parked without any problem, however when we returned from our break and tried to get out of the car park we had a problem. The machine was saying that we were due £180 although I had paid in advance. A very helpful gentleman sorted out whatever had gone wrong but it would be good to know what it was.”
