“Reliable shuttle bus, arriving by car is convenient, the parking is huge. Better than the long-term parking if you have lots of baggage – total walking diatance is smaller. Cons – dynamic pricing, so a week on April school holidays costed us 150 GBP.”
“Easy to find & park.
I usually choose fast park but decided to try the cheaper long stay.
Due to car park being very busy I ended up having to park at the end of the car park which was a bit of a trek to the terminal. Not too bad on the way in but didn’t feel overly safe coming back in the dark as a lone female.”
“Well-located, can usually find spaces.
But, the last two times, despite paying in advance, I've been asked by the machine to pay £100+. I then have to use the intercom so that my booking can be verified and I can leave. Very frustrating at the end of a long journey.”
“I had a problem at the exit. The barrier didn’t work and I was struggling to reverse my car in the dark to move to another lane. Maybe that area needs more lights. I scratched my bumper because I couldn’t see well enough”
“Fast Park is an excellent service, quick and easy, with friendly and efficient staff. My only gripe is that whoever brought the car back for collection was clearly much smaller than me and did not put the seat back in anything approximating to its previous position. The result was that I could not get back into the car and had to adjust the seat backwards to do so....in the rain!”
“Really quick and cost effective way to park. We used Plane Parking with shuttle bus. There were plenty of spaces in the car park and very little waiting time for the bus each way. Would definitely use the service again in future.”
“Edinburgh Airport FastPark Review
Very convenient and easy to use. Drop-off and collection were smooth, and being close to the terminal makes it a stress-free option overall.
However, as this is a valet-style service where you leave your keys, I was concerned to find my car had been driven approximately 2 miles during the parking period. There is no clear information provided upfront about how far vehicles may be moved, which raises questions around transparency.
Overall, a convenient service, but clearer communication about vehicle handling would improve trust.”
