Do not think the driver was very helpful.g

On arrival at the Long Stay Car Park at 06:00 the car park was clearly over-booked. Despite having an advance reservation I sturggled to find a space, and in fact may cars had been abandoned on the road not in an actual space. On my return the driver of the shuttle bus was very rude and shouted at customers.

Directions to the car park could be improved. No welcom message on screen unlike Glasgow airport.

Was very hard to find a parking space. Was going to leave car near a fence but at bus stop managed to find a space. Spent about 20 minutes driving round and round didn't need that stress before a flight. Bus drivers both ways very courteous and transfer very easy. ON leaving the car park at barrier when we put ticket in said due £140 !!!! However it was just a technical hitch and the employee I spoke to via intercom quickly resolved the issue and the barrier lifted. Would I use the car park again perhaps but perhaps not. Would be helpful if there was someone showing you where there were available spaces as did cause a bit of stress.

Having purchased fast track parking with fast track security I was pretty irritated yesterday to find that I had to queue to access the car park and at security the usual lane for fast track customers was closed. I nearly missed my flight. Basically Edinburgh Airport is overcrowded and the traffic is a nightmare. Also I will never return to The Gathering. Tables left with dirty crockery and glasses for ages - disgusting.

Good car park. However, we added priority security check-in only to find this was not available for the times we arrived. Surely this option should not be made available if the times are out with the open times of the priority security.

Parking in the multi-story is very convenient, especially with the bridge installed, however the set up for fast-track security defeats the object. If you have the misfortune of being directed to position 6 or higher you have virtually no chance of the officer being able to move your tray to the belt to be scanned, as the passengers who arrive later than you but are directed to lower numbered slots find that gaps appear on the belt closer to the scanner first (Surprise, Surprise) so their items are scanned before yours and you are left waiting.

The price for parking at Edinburgh Airport has increased dramatically over the past couple of months & it is now cheaper fro me to get a taxi to & from the airport rather than parking overnight. Despite the increase in prices the availability of car parking w/c 10th October has been very poor & I was only able to get a parking space as I pre-booked a week in advance. On the positive side, the new mid-stay car park has been a great benefit as you don't need to get a bus to the terminal & the walkway is clearly marked.

We had booked the long stay but got redirected to the mid stay as the long stay was full. We found a space with great difficulty. on our return the car park was packed and cars were abandoned everywhere . It was very difficult to get out.

I prebooked but when I tried to exit the car park my ticket was not recognized so I had to call the assistance team and give them the reservation number. It was not very busy so it was fine, but I would like to communicate this to you, so you can improve it. Thank you.

the last 2 times I've used the carpark we have changed the number plate online on your website the day before travelling, however when we arrive the number plate isn't recognised, and when I have departed I have had to buzz the team to let me out without paying (prepaid parking). It would be great if you could look at how to improve this as at the end of a business trip late at night it's the last thing you want to have to do. Thanks

Car park is close to the airport entrance and exit, so no need to hang around for a transfer bus to car park. There are no children friendly parking spaces so difficult to get into and out of car with a 6 month old baby and car seat.

The only problem, but a major problem, was finding a space. Having prepaid it was assumed that there would be a guaranteed space, but this is not the case. All available spaces were taken, including cars parked on pavements, on ends of rows, just about anywhere a car could fit. It is absolutely understood that enough time should be allowed in case of problems at an airport, but a prepayment should be a way of preventing a problem in the first place. When booking online, it should be made absolutely clear that a prepayment does not guarantee a parking space. This needs addressing.

I booked for the mid stay car park but there is no signage for this on the way in to the airport. There are signs for the long stay car park on the way in and one for the mid stay on the way out. So it is nearly impossible to find the mid stay car park when driving in to catch a flight. This led to me parking in the wrong car park but fortunately your staff were understanding. Which was very good.

I chose to use the midstay car park but I wouldn't use this one again. It was a much longer walk than expected especially carrying luggage. On the return it was not well signed which direction to go for the midstay section. We were lucky that the weather was dry. If it had been raining we would have been soaked by the time we returned to our car. Unsatisfactory experience.

Busy car park as very few spaces left when I arrived. Some people even parking at sides of roadways in car park. I had an issue on leaving the car park as the exit machine wanted me to pay £140 even after I had prepaid for parking. This was quickly resolved when I pressed the assistance button and read out my ref no from my booking. This is the first time I have flown from Edinburgh Airport so I can not compare it to other car parks there.

No spaces - had to park alongside pavement. This restricts manoeuvring room for cars already parked. Not great.

access from bus stops to terminal keeps getting rerouted every couple of months. unnecessary long route after security to the gates to make sure everyone spends maximum time in duty free shops. gates for budget airlines (Norwegian) as far away from terminal as possible.

Unfortunatley pre paid online and machine at airport still wanted to charge me over £200! However, thankfully there was someone to speak to who could release the barrier for me and check I had paid! Better communication needed after payment to prevent subsequent stressful situation arising for customers would be encouraged.
