Understand that parts were under construction but better signage would be helpful. No indication (I could see) of what facilities (food/dinning) are available once through security. Badly lit and felt insecure walk to mid stay parking, glad it was only raining lightly and it wasn't my daughter doing it!

On exit, I had to ring through for assistance and supply my booking confirmation number. This happened last time I used the service. It would be better if number plate recognition could be used to open the exit automatically.

First time we have used the long stay car park at the airport. I booked it because of the good price and the fact that it is so close to the airport. However, we were very disappointed on arrival (8am) to find cars parked all over the place, outwith marked bays, and it was extremely difficult to find the few empty spaces that were available. This was beginning to worry us as we'd been held up by road works on the slip road to the airport, and were a bit shorter of time than we would have liked. I think there needs to be a better way of directing folk to the available spaces. This was a bit of a deal breaker for us, and not sure that I would use the car park again for that reason alone.

Booking from 4/10/16 - 19/10/16 Finding the Long-Stay Car Park was easy - directions were clear and it was well signposted. The bus service to the terminal was efficient upon arrival at the airport and leaving the terminal. The online price was also reasonable. However, upon attempting to leave the terminal, the ticket machine tried to charge me £260.00 for the parking I had already paid for! The staff were happy to help, and I did not have to pay the fee in the end in order to exit the car park.

The bus service to and from the terminals is good. You have reduced the number of spaces available for long term parking and not allowed for overflow. You will lose business as customers find more reliable options. Was that your intention?

The bus taking passengers to and from airport stops quite a distance from the terminal rather surprisingly. It is very poorly signposted from the terminal so finding it is difficult on the return trip. It seems a deterioration of service compared to 3 years ago and costs a great deal more!!!!

I pre-booked the multi storey as my husband and I are both disabled. When we arrived at the arranged time not only was it full, but we had to circle the carpark until a disabled space became available outside.

I am not a "commuter" level traveller, but I would say I park overnight at Edinburgh Airport at LEAST once every six weeks, and I have had MIXED experiences with it (particulary since the mid-term lot opened). I've had £500 worth of damage done to my car scraping it on a difficult-to-see raised kerb at the long-term-parking entry (I was clearly not the first and won't be the last; these curbs are now painted hi-vis yellow, but they weren't at the time). Once I under-booked long term parking for a day and was charged £185 extra on entry (they waived the fee). Once I was charged £29 to park in long term parking for just under an hour (they didn't waive the fee). If you book ahead of time and shop around, you can get some very good deals and it can be very convenient. Now that EVERY business traveller is aware you can park in Long Term and walk through the Mid Term car park, the expensive Mid Term is empty and the Long Term is so full it took me fifteen minutes to find a space there on my last trip even though I pre-booked. I've had good experiences and bad experiences but this isn't my favorite service in the world. I've always been a fan of Long Term - the bus service is actually reliable and friendly and quick. But since they've moved the buses to the other end of the airport, the walk is longer, the car park is overfull, and the savings in expense is utterly random & occasionally non-existent. I often use off-airport parking when Edinburgh Parking's rates skyrocket for no obvious reason. In short - I use this service only because of its convenience, and only when the price is right, and only when I haven't got a choice. It is what it is. I wish I was a happier customer.

Despite the early (06:30) entry time to the long stay car park, it was quite difficult to find an empty space and with a flight time looming it made us quite anxious. On our return we saw many cars had parked outside the marked spaces (presumably because they couldn't find a legitimate space).

On arrival at the multistorey car park we passed through the barrier with our ticket complete with our reg.number on it, the first level had a sign saying P 180 which I took to mean that there were 180 parking spaces available. After touring this level which was full we tried the second level indicating P120,again full up.The third level was full,we tried the fourth level indicated P zero where we found a space. On return we located our car, drove to the barrier (the time now is about 02:30 am) on entering my ticket which has been paid for on line and a confirmation received 17 days before we used the car park, the barrier did not lift and the readout at the barrier control indicated that we owed £360. At this time in the morning after a long journey we did welcome any further delay. We spoke to the attendant and explained the situation and were told "this might take some time". Just what you need at that time in the morning!!.We had changed the car from the original booking but we confirmed the car registration number 2 weeks before we arrived. Eventually after about 5 mins.the attendant came back and the barrier was raised. I was asked by Edinburgh Airport for my comments on my use of the facility, well here it is. It was very convenient not having to get buses etc. and I would probably use it again. It would be useful if there was an indication that there parking spaces on the various levels to save touring the floors to find a space. Mike.

Good on way out, very poor on way back, had to wait a long time for stairs to be brought to the plane, then kept on a bus outside the terminal while another plane was boarded

We found it a little confusing when entering the car park as signage at barriesr do not mention multistorage. When you press the button to receive a ticket for a booked entry, other car parks have a display of the vehicle licence plate number and your name to help confirm you are in the correct place. The registration number being printed on the ticket at the time of entering should be clearly informed at the time of booking so you know the procedure.

Surface parking is very convenient for the terminal, and good value. Emailed instructions were not very clear. Signage at the airport could be improved. Initially, when trying to leave the car park, I was told that there would be a charge of £360 - despite having pre-paid the total fee of £40. This was eventually sorted out, but it was very annoying to have to deal with this at the end of a journey home.

Was very difficult to find a space. No attendant around. Parking spaces very tight. On return journey on the bus - people were packed in like sardines which seemed unnecessary.

The terminus for the shuttle bus from the Long Stay Car Park is an unreasonably long distance from the terminal building.

When we arrived there were no obvious few spaces with cars parked on pavements not in bays and generally using and spare space. Eventually managed to find a space in the back corner of the car park. Not the experience you want when you are rushing to catch a flight!

Actual parking and transport to and from the terminal are easy and pretty efficient. What annoys me, however, is that when you pre-pay for parking, the number plate recognition system doesn't work. It never works. You put your ticket in and a huge payment comes up on the screen. You then have to press the button and speak to a wholly disinterested attendant to convince him that you've already paid. Why? The ticket has my registration number on it... My booking has my registration number on it. Crucially, my car has my also registration number on it. What is the difficulty?
