It's a very long way to walk to and from the Bus Stop for the Long term Car Park. Furthermore, there is no shelter at Stand 10 where one waits for the bus to the Car Park. Even on a nice sunny day, wheeling a case or pushing a trolley for that distance would become tedious

Car parking was OK but the signage is poor, too many roundabouts which you cant see over at times. Things need to clear while driving not just on plan view. Collecting the baggage was outrageously slow... Over an hour.. We were told there was only 1 baggage handler. Our flight was in before another and they got there bags first as well. Very poor, might not be back.. Its the 21st Century... get up to speed...

The price was very competitive having booked online before hand, however when we came to exit the car park we were told that we had to pay £70.00. This was eventually resolved by speaking on the intercom to a member of staff and providing our booking reference. An unnecessary delay at the end of the long journey.

Bus? Good polite driver and frequent. Car park entrance / exit? Not good. Reg plate misread. Needed to speak to cust services via push button at gate. Not so polite...

Expensive for only a three day trip, especially when the return airplane was late.

No problem with the actual parking, bus transfer or payment but the drop-off and pick-up point at the terminal is much further from the terminal building than need be. Glasgow has this much better designed.

Handy for the airport and having a new fast track bridge direct to the security area helps with the rush for a flight but why oh why can I not just drive straight out of the car park even though they have licence plate recognition and my time in the car park has been prepaid online. Please get this issue fixed for my next visit as the delay in getting out is a pain in the butt

Car park facilities were excellent. Parked on surface car park next to terminal. Only 2min walk to terminal. Booking process was quick and easy. However found Edinburgh airport security to be slow and chaotic also passport control was extremely slow compared to other airports I've used. Baggage reclaim was cramped, If I travelled again from Edinburgh I would book the car with the fast track security.

easy to find carpark that allows you to pick your own space, we specifically picked an end space in the corner. Efficient pick up and drop off service however on return to our car someone had parked so closely to the drivers side that I had to climb over the passenger seat to get into the car. Clearly parking spaces don't allow enough space & other users have no consideration for other cars! Upon exit the ticket machine advised that the balance was £140 but thankfully the service at the speaker quickly resolved this as I had pre-booked. Based on service I'd say "average" however car parking spaces are like sardines & it's unlikely I would recommend.

Airport parking always seems like a rip off to me. The airport essentially has its customers over a barrel and abuses that position by charging what it feels it can get away with in terms of parking fees. Leaves a nasty taste for the customer.

Sadly Edinburgh has had to improve with the layout it has got and not an Airport starting with a clean sheet (or empty site) such as Munich in Germany. It tries very hard to improve the experience for passengers and people trying to drop of friends and relatives at the airport. It can be frustrating at the drop off area (charging for this does not help) to find a space in such a short time. People heading for the buses and trams use it as a shortcut and adds to the delay for people looking for their friends who are there to collect them. On another note why can Edinburgh airport not have an area for enthusiasts( spotters and photographers) and people wishing to wave their friends and relatives goodbye. I am sure there is an area near the Cargo hub which could be used for such a purpose. Manchester has such a facility and is used not by spotters and relatives but also school parties on Educational visits. Your future employees (pilots, and ground crew) could come from these visitors. It is worth seriously thinking about.

Signage to the bus stand for long-term parking is very poor. Inside the airport building you see many signs to mid-term parking but none at all for long-term. I remembered the out-door walkway from when I arrived at the airport, but the correct exit to take to get there was not marked at all. When you get to the bus-stand the sign saying 'Long-term Parking' is facing the driver, not the arriving passenger! Duh!

Arrived in the dark a left in the dark. Transfer to the terminal was fine - maybe the pickup points could be made more obvious. Bit of a walk from the bus drop-off to the terminal. On the way back there was no signposting in arrivals to the long stay parking bus. For a first time user of prebooking I wasn't sure what the procedure was to exit the barrier and you don't get information on this until you are at the barrier. I was asked to pay £60 so the system was having the same problem as some other reviewers. Means to contact attendants via intercom not clear in the dark. And you need to have your booking reference to hand to assure attendant that you have pre-booked. All a bit stressful at midnight. Clearer signage, better information and reliable technology would go a long way to make it more user-friendly

The overall parking was as expected and the shuttle bus ran very frequently I booked this site because of its proximity to the airport My only complaint is that despite pre booking and paying , when I tried to exit the car park the screen displayed that I owed £115.00 !! Thankfully this was rectified when I spoke to an operator and explained that I had pre booked After a very long flight we didn't need that stress !! Couldn't the system be improved to avoid this in future ? The same thing happened to my partner and other people I know ,so I am aware it's not a one off situation

Check in, parking and transfer were all fine. The problem was when I came to exit the car park. Payment had been made in full on line when I booked, yet when I came to exit I inserted the ticket whereupon the barrier machine told me I owed £95 and the barrier arm stayed closed. With a large queue of traffic behind me, I had to intercom for assistance, asking me for my vehicle registration and name. Initially no records could be found and I had to confirm said info in phonetics prior to the inquisitor eventually finding my details and permitting exit. No apology was proffered and I found the whole experience embarrassing and annoying holding other drivers up for no reason other than the system ineptitude. For info my car registration is X600ASH and I left the car park last night at around 18.45. Parking all fine, your systemisation seriously lacking.

Unfortunately bookings were not registered on your machine and therefore had to pull out the booking reference to get the cards validated - the guy at the kiosk was grumpy and not very helpful. I know it was 2 o'clock in the morning but... had your machines worked properly we wouldn't have had to bother him. The parking has got a lot more expensive and doesn't even come up with your name on entry anymore. Part of the reason I book on line is to ensure I dont have to carry loads of bits of paper - if you ask for the booking reference then it is clearly another document I will have to carry. Unfortunately this has happened the last twice I have parked in the airport multi-story. It's the most expensive car park so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the service to work.

The overall parking suits us fine but on every occasion (we are usually away for a month) and although all our details car registration etc are noted on the ticket we always have to end up contacting the office and quote our reference number to release. Most annoying and have seen this happen to other motorists.
