“No problem with arrival and there were plenty of spaces available close to the terminal. Real frustration however on exiting the car park. We must have sat for 45 minutes crawling forward to the exit barriers. There appeared to be no real reason for this other than the volume of cars and especially taxis trying to exit. This was at 16.00 on a Thursday afternoon. Negates the whole benefit of parking at the terminal.”
“I prepaid for parking and yet when I got to the exit, the barrier wouldn’t open suggesting the amount of £170 was due to be paid. I had to press the communication button whilst a queue built up behind me. Initially I was asked for the booking confirmation number, not having it immediately available because it was in the luggage in the boot I was then asked for the vehicle registration number. Why wasn’t I asked that first. The barrier was then opened by the operative immediately by the operative only to Jon the traffic jam of vehicles all leaving the airport.”
“Booking was easy, website is user friendly and it all worked, but that is where it ended, I booked a space in the surface carpark simply for convenience again this fell way short, after I arrived i spend 20 minutes trying to find a space with out success ! I just parked the car up but not in a recognised space, basically abandoned it, as having arrived with plenty of time to catch my flight but now was a rush to get to gate, I pre booked and there was no space and I was not the only car looking to park up 5 in total, surely the entry system has the ability to count the cars entering and leaving ? and stop cars entering who have not pre booked a space ? seems logical ? But Global Infrastructure Partners will put profit over customer service, will revisit not driving to Edinburgh Airport.”
“When we arrived the main area was closed off as full so we had to park well away. As we have awheelchair this wasn't very helpful. We were annoyed therefore to find several disabled spaces free in the coned off area. When we came back and tried to go out our ticket seemed ot be a non-prepaid one so we had to contact the helpline in order to exit. Not the best system especialy for a disabled person.”

“Not impressed. We were told the car would be waiting for us to collect but in fact we got the bus through the whole of the car park and the last stop was the express one,walked past our car collected the key from reception only to be told it was in a “nearby “ bay and hadn’t been moved to the express bay as expected . Total waste of time and extra cost”
“The car parking was pre-purchased and very expensive. When leaving the car park, the ticket machine stated that I owed £50, despite having pre-paid. This was resolved using the help button at the ticket machine, but I needed the booking reference from the original booking. I therefore suggest that you have this with you if you do not want to pay twice.”
“Came back from holiday to find 2 dents in passenger door. Despite parking next to the express drop off lanes in Long Stay we were apparently out of cctv range and none of the other cameras were able to see anything except the roofs of the cars.
Would be more secure parking in a supermarket car park.”
“Despite pre-booking the terminal surface parking we couldn't find a space and must have had to do 3 laps before we finally found one. The space we finally found was very narrow and needed us to get out of the car before my partner parked up and then on our return he had to climb over the passenger seat to get into the drivers seat.”
“I pre-paid for terminal surface parking and there were no available spots. I had to follow a returning driver to his spot after I had circled for 10 minutes and take his spot. It was stressful.”
“The location is brilliant, it is secure and well maintained and the fast track security is an added bonus. Unfortunately if you are delayed, something outside your control with a delayed flight and a fire alarm restricting your exit, you are stuck with excessive charges - be warned!! Without this it would have been a five star review”
“Found the car park successfully. Spaces are small. Felt quite compact. Returned to find my car scratched! Clearly by another driver opening their door! Reported this at the time and was told there is no CCTV and nothing they could do! Will not use again!”
“Exiting the car Park on the afternoon of Sunday 26th August was a complete free for all. 4 lanes into one and it took us at least 25 minutes to leave the car park.
This was unacceptable.”
“I found great difficulty in finding a parking place. I asked for the parking lot close to the terminal because of time pressure and had great difficulty in getting any space . This was a poor option and perhaps one I will not pick in future unless spaces are available.”
“Was the best Long Stay at Airport on price 6 months ago - now not! Next trip booked cheaper at NCP Long Stay - better price …. + I pre-payed this "park" but got to barrier to find my pre-booked hadn't be registered! Had to use intercom and go through booking reference to get out!!!! Very poor service … Get your act together!”
