“Had trouble getting out of the car park when I was informed at the exit barrier that I owed £150 even though I had pre-paid. Possibly due to me changing the vehicle details a couple of days before I was due to park, though I had confirmation from Edinburgh Airport Parking that this change had gone through. Had to use intercom at exit barrier to contact representative who checked my booking reference and allowed me through.”
“What made me 'happy'?I'm not sure it made me happy just seeing the courtesy bus leaving and then waiting what seemed like an age on a cold rainy night for the next one...”
“Fortunately it was not raining when we left the car nor when we collected it, however, I expected "Valet Parking" to be under cover!
Your administration was poor as your attendant had not been informed that we had changed our car earlier in the year and all your paperwork had our previous number plate on it.”
“The parking was fine and very handy when you get back tired from travelling BUT it's too costly for what it is and my fear is that it makes other airports more attractive which would be a shame.”
“Upon arrival, it is NOT clearly indicated where to go - we were area R on surface. Returning there from the airport, once again signposting could have been better!”
“I arrived in plenty time for my flight to Funchal on 7th September. It was just as well as I had to drop my wife off and circle the car park about 6 times before I found a space. Only by following a man going to pick up his car did I manage to find a parking bay. This is not really on if you are tight for time. You should indicate when booking if the car park is particularly busy”
“The parking is handy but expensive. The automatic license plate recognition rarely works and you have to spend time at the barrier speaking to staff. Would I recommend ? Well the alternatives are limited, so yes.”
