“Driving around and into airports to make sure I’m in the right lane is very nerve racking for me!
Been bragging to all my friends how great Edinburgh Airport is and sooo easy to get around.
EDI Plane parking was so easy to navigate as clearly signposted as soon as you get to airport.
Barrier system easy to use and get a parking space no issues. Pick up bus driver was great and friendly, only waited 5 mins both out and back for bus and journey was quick- plenty of space for luggage storage.
Barrier coming back tried to charge me for my pre-paid stay £105! Used the buzzer, gentleman answered straight away and it was resolved straightaway, no hassle at all.
I live next to Newcastle airport but would use Edinburgh again if the air fare was good as parking was easy and affordable.

“The general condition of Edinburgh airport is very poor and appears to be getting worse. As a welcome to Edinburgh and Scotland for visitors it offers a very poor reflection of the city and country due to it's poor state. This includes but is not limited to: widespread litter and rubbish, peeling paintwork on all areas or carpark and airport, poor condition of roads and pavements, limited space outside terminal, limited space in check-in area and a passport hall that resembles an industrial unit. I have lived in Edinburgh for 25 years and would like the airport to be able to offer a better experience for locals and visitors alike. I appreciate the challenge of increasing business rates but feel we should be able to do better.”
“Such an easy process from booking to collecting the car to go home. Price was pretty much the same as the further away car parks at time of booking. Love how close it is to the terminal - even if its raining you'd barely get wet. Easy to drop off keys & as long as you don't lose your ticket its easy to get your key back & find your car. And there's always plenty staff around at each step in case you get stuck.”
“Convenient location not too far from the terminal. Easy to book. However the barrier never opened on the way out for some strange reason whilst we had already pre paid the parking.”

Shuttle bus timings were good - quite frequent and not taking long.
If I had one criticism / recommendation it would be that there should be at least three more pick-up points.
The car park is really long (about 200 car-widths) and about 9 rows wide, and the cross-paths are far apart. If you can't get parked close to one of the only two bus stops - which is quite likely - then you might face a longish walk to reach one, dragging your cases on what is not especially smooth tarmac.
That said, the drivers were great at waiting if they saw someone coming, or even stopping outwith the official stops to pick people up (which I am sure they will have been told not to do!)”
“We've used Plane Parking for the last few years. Competitively priced, easily accessible, always a space available, buses every 10 minutes and very helpful drivers. There's never been an issue using Plane Parking.”

“Good parking although for the second time when exiting cat park the barrier remained down and was asked to pay £270 for the parking , a quick call through the intercom button resolved the issue but still not sure why it happens , that aside its easy to book and easy to park and walk to the airport”
