“While it is easy to find your way from the car park to the terminal, there is an unacceptable lack of signage to show you how to get from the terminal to the car park. We got lost and had to walk on unsafe roads to eventually find our way. I believe I pointed this out several years ago on a previious visit, but nothing has been done about it.”
“Unfortunately my experience of the Edinburgh Airport Long Stay parking was less than optimal. I booked 2 days in advance online using their webpage which included making payment, but unfortunately upon departing after 4 days away the car park departure cameras failed to identify the car registration and quoted a significantly increased payment to exit. I returned to the closest payment stand to find that the machine was out of service, before finding another and contacting an agent who cleared my card's account. Why this was necessary I do not know, and whilst Edinburgh Airport is the closest international departure point I am forced to continue using this airport, but for multiple other reasons on top of this experience I wish that this were not the case.”
“First time using this service but wont be my last. Super easy, stress free way to start and end the holiday. Friendly helpful staff on hand to assist.”
“First time using Fast Park. On arrival the staff direct you how to use the entrance, then what lane to park your car. You park very close to the rear bumper of the car in front, but then allow you to get your suitcase out of your boot before the next car parks close to your rear bumper. walk to the key drop off(Staff also available)use screen to input flight details produced a ticket keep safe for your return. On return show ticket draw will light up with your keys in it and what aisle your tickets is waiting for you in the car park written on the ticket attached to your keys. Excellent way to park your car at Edinburgh Airport definitely recommend and use again Service and Staff amazing.😀”
“Plane Parking. Avoid if disabled. hardly any Blue Badge Bays. If you have a wheelchair you cannot navigate between the parked cars to cut the journey to the bus stop due to closeness of the cars parked and the hardcore surface (not Taramac) Therefore no matter where you are parked you have a long way to go to get to the bus stop.
No seats in the car park bus shelter so if your unlucky enough to miss a bus you have to stand 15/20 mins waiting on the next one. Same when you return, there is no seats in the shelter at the terminal either. Quite a long walk from the Terminal bus stop to the actual terminal.
As I said, if you have mobility issues, avoid this one.”
