I was unable to make my flight due to the snow fall, I got in touch with your customer service team who advised that I was unable to cancel my £40 parking as it was within 24 hours. I felt unsatisfied with this, if I knew 24 hours in advance that I was not going to be able to make the flight I would have cancelled my parking but given the snowfall in a short space of time this led to me not being able to do so. I did manage to change my flight so therefore got in touch again to try and amend my booking to move the parking out a few days, again I was told I was unable to do this as I couldn't amend a booking within 24 hours. I will not be using this service again, the inflated price which I pay for convenience has led to me being out of pocket for something that was outwith my control.

Presented ticket to machine on exit and although I had prepaid. Was asked for £90.00

Drop off/ pick up is far too expensive and limiting the lower cost to 5 minutes creates unnessesary pressure. This should be 5 -10 mins to avoid people racing to the barriers and to account for queuing at the machines. Trippling the charge after 5 minutes is an overtly cynical attempt to make money as it is impossible to enter, park, unload, meaningfully interact with loved ones and exit in 5 minutes. That is shameful.

Didn’t use the car parking as we couldn’t get our car out of the driveway

I really not understand why not informed prebooked passengers at paystation regarding the leaving method?? I prepaid my 14 days parking (60GBP) then I put my ticket to cashing machine at paystation and I hade to pay additional 225 GBP (!!) to leave the parking. No any support staff at midnight who can help me...I never will ude your parkin area in the future!!

It is expensive and the product/experience is poor. No covered walkways at terminal surface - so you get soaked each and every time it rains. Trolleys abandoned randomly next to cars rather than in the bays - risking damage to my car. Broken glass left to my car for a number of weeks.

Paid more for Terminal Surface, but the main section was full so had to park in Sections R-S beyond exit lane and as far from the terminal as Mid-stay, which would have cost less.

Very expensive and the staff are rude and not helpful! Unfortunately... there is not much choice but to line the pockets of Edinburgh Airport monopoly! Interesting article a few weeks ago it is more expensive to park a car than land a plane at Edinburgh!

Very poor signage for the multi story car park. Went into outdoor parking area that cost me £4.90 and twice into the drop off area that cost me another £2.00. Met another two couples who had the same experience and spoke to one of the attendants who said that this is a common occurrence.

I made a mistake of one letter for my disabled wife's car, when I pre-booked it at a cost of £55.99. Her plane was delayed, because of the recent appalling weather, so we expected a penalty, even though it was obviously not her fault. The system still recognised a red Toyota Yaris and I did not realise the mistake. The only way she, our daughter and grandson could escape the car park was to pay the truly astonishing sum of an additional £280. This is the worst example of rip-off Britain that it has ever been my misfortune to endure. Douglas Manson

On arrival the Jaguar was cover in inches of snow and wasn’t ready for me as previously having red comments from other customers that their cars were warm and ready for them to pick it up

When exiting the car park late at night we put our ticket into the exit machine and it asked for over 100£, as we prepayed we were caused great disstress, then the help attendant was poorly unhelpful and made it difficult to get out, we pre booked with my regestration so what is the issue?

this the second time that I have prebooked and my car has not been recognised and this has caused problems getting out of the park at the barrier

Directions were misleading for both parking and walking to the terminal. Poor experience.

Parking charges are excessive For long stay, the bus used to collect at the airport door, as many buses still do. If we want to save money and use long stay we now have to walk the full length of the car park to get to it, it seems like an encouragement to use the more expensive surface or multi-storey parks Even when booking surface, the last two occasions I have been directed to use an overspill park which is again a considerable distance to walk. There should be a partial refund of cost in that case, you have the car and owner details so don't see why its an issue

Hopeless Entry and Exit System. Badly signed and unsafe pedestrian walk way to airport from Mid Term Car Park. Even after ensuring my registration plate is pre-registered and my car make and color logged with the prepaid booking system I and other customers are told we we need to pay at least £38! The sensor button on the intercom doesn't work every-time and last night again stuck behind a queue of cars unable to get the intercom to work and then its almost impossible for large cars to get out because of the 90 degree exit. The whole airport is designed with someone else other than passengers in mind savagely extracting additional revenue from passengers and is a reflection of a monopoly at its worst.

If I had just paid on departure I would have saved £13.00 a total rip off.

The parking is fine. Booking ahead online reduced the expense. The automatic No plate recognition has only recognised my registration once in 4 years (30? opportunities). You then have to dig out your reservation No at the barrier. Staff have at best been average, often bordering on road. Definitely not welcoming.
