“The website for booking is hopeless. You set up a logon but then can't log in again.
Even though I 'Unticked' the "Please send me parking offers blah, blah" I receive a marketing email 2 hours later.
Stop spamming me for gods sake - I elected not to receive, what part of that can't you understand?”
“I had booked parking at the multi storey car park, I paid £65.99 for the privilege and on leaving the car park I was forced to pay a further £110 to get my car out of the car park. I have complained about this and have had no response whatsoever from yourselves.”
“Accidentally went to wrong car park and was charged full rate tariff on the booking at nearly £100, on a pre booking this was 39.99 and I’d already paid £29.99 - manager was adamenent it was full rate as if I’d just entered the car park, worst customer service I’ve had in my life”
“Having prepaid and booked parking for eight days i was asked at the barrier to pay an extra £280 to exit . I pressed the intercom and after a delay got through and was told to find my booking number , this was not readily available and took a while to find it on my phone .
not what i want to do after a long day at airports and you just want to get home .
Why are you asking people who have prepaid to pay extra ?”
“I have used this car park many times before our flight was late in getting in we were half an hour late and it cost me £38 to get the car out I pushed the button for service and I was told tough that's what it cost never again 😡😡😡😡”
“Exiting at 10 pm with my final time out at 11 pm it showed due £90 .
Pitch black had to reverse as could not see any call button .
Eventually operator released barrier .
Furious and embarrassed and this is not the first time .
I would like refund 100 % of £38.99 fee paid .”
“Very poor, got to my car park, it didn't register my number plate and gave me a ticket charging me £4. Then I left the car park and paid my ticket thinking I went to the wrong one, only to be told to go back to the one o was in. Man at reception gave me fast track which was nice of him. But poor set up really.”
“There was only one barrier working for the terminal surface which meant huge queues back to the dual carriageway, I was very tight for my flight and I saw others running.
The registration recognition wasn't working which meant customers were pressing the call button which took time.
I was on a late flight back and then had to go to customer service to get my car park ticket validated before going back to my car as would not have allowed me out. Others had not done the same which meant more queuing at the barrier to get out.
All in all a very poor experience, back to Glasgow airport for me.”
“Not signed posted well enough therefore I ended up in this car park instead of the one I paid for costing me substantially more money. There was no clear guidance to what company owned which car park and when I googled the airport car park only one main website came up giving me the assumption that they are all part of the same”
“I booked and paid online and went to Malta for a week, when I put my ticket in the machine at the exit a notice came up that I owed £280! I had to talk to someone to get it sorted out”
“when we were trying to leave carpark there was a problem with ticket letting us out so i buzzed for help and whoever answered was really bad tempered and had no customer service skills whatsoever really disappointed after a great holiday”
“I pre-booked and prepaid for my overnight stay, and on arrival a sign was placed across the entrance saying it was full and to continue forwards but as other vehicles were in front and behind I obviously didn’t read the sign properly. I entered the multi-storey next left and caught my flight to London. On arrival back the following evening I had to pay an additional £110.”
“Profiteering of the highest order in charging £18 for one days parking in the long stay car park.
The bus service at 7.00am is not frequent enough and the driver watched me getting out of my car before driving away.
The return was just as bad, the roads in to and out of Edinburgh cannot cope with the volume of traffic. Having taken only 50 minutes to fly in from East Midlands, it took me 45 minutes to exit the airport.
10 minutes to walk to the long stay bus stop, 13 minutes waiting for a bus, 10 minutes waiting to get round to the long stay car park and 12 minutes queuing to get out of that in my car.
All round, a rubbish experience and massively over priced.”
“The only spaces available in surface parking (as usual) were the ones furthest away from the terminal behind the pay machines at exit... be as well paying a fraction of the price at the next car park along!!!”
