“Awful, dirty and overpriced. The most expensive airport parking I have ever experienced. £150 for 7 days. They use their monopoly to charge whatever they feel. The car park signage is awful, the whole area is dirty, covered with cigarette butts and there is no workers cleaning or doing anything useful with the £150 I have paid. The only benefit is proximity to the airport although trying to find the entrance is made impossible by lack of internal signage. The roads are poorly designed and I’m pretty sure the actual multi story car park building is actually designed backwards which makes navigating it very confusing”
“Fast park is 1st class service, the professionalism & friendliness of the staff there make everything so plain sailing & simple no matter what time of day, I always use Fastpark & so do my kids when travelling, its so easy to do & because I have a blue badge ny car is at the door waiting for me when i return to collect, fantastic service.”
“I had inadvertently put my own car registration when booking, instead of my wife’s car registration. The staff on hand could not have been anymore helpful in updating our details, and quickly putting our mind at rest, thank you.”
“All went well until it was time to leave and, although I had prepaid, the barrier did not rise and the message said I owed £30. Fortunately, I spoke to someone using the intercom button and I was let out.”
“I have parked here before with no issues. This time was very different. On my return I was delayed by over 12hrs to collect my car so by the time I got to Fast Park I'd also been travelling for 24hrs so was very tired and just wanted to get home. I went to collect my car key and was surprised to be charged £25, I thought one of the benefits of parking at Edinburgh Airport and putting in flight information is so that if you're delayed the car park is aware of this. I challenged this (after spending 10mins trying to find someone) and was told this wasn't the case, 6hrs is the grace period so any longer expect to be charged. I was also told I should email to let them know I'd be late, unclear how I could do this when on a plane! He then offered to reduce this to £15 and then told me to raise a complaint with the airline or through travel insurance to claim the money back. Travel insurance would not be possible as I'd have an excess to pay so not worth my while. Then taking time to complain to the airline is something additional to do when this could be resolved at the car park. I was really disappointed that the gentleman didn't even apologise and go on to explain the T&C's, then as a gesture of goodwill write of the charge so I'd know for next time, that would have been a good customer service! I have learned the hard way about this and will not be parking here again!”
“Ticket wouldn't work at the barrier again. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me. Had to go look for a pay booth then realised there's a button at the barrier for help. To be honest it's the last type of hassle you need after an early return back. Simply not good enough.”
“I love the connection bus, it’s amazing, there are two bus stops that you can use in the parking, but we didn’t have to wait more than 5 min. The price is very good and the best at the airport.”
