“Third time to use this car park and first two times were excellent. This time, however, we were rather disappointed on the exit. We put our ticket in to be asked to pay £180 by card before the barrier went up. Apart from not having any cards with us to use as we only use cash when we are away, we didn’t owe any money as we were within the timeline. We were unable to contact anyone through the speaker at half past three in the morning and were only helped by the wonderful bus driver who appeared behind us. She told us it had been happening to people all night. Why didn’t somebody do something about it if that was the case? I understand technology has issues on occasion hence why I prefer cash but to not have dealt with it is poor service.”
“Checking online in advance was a big help. You could drop your keys off a bit quicker.
We arrived back from holiday around 1am, but we still managed to pick up the car key quickly.
There were also staff around on arrival and departure.
It is also a very short walk from the car park to the airport building.”
“Improved signage at each roundabout on the main road into the airport , especially illuminated at night - additionally clear signage at the immediate communal entrance , stating multi storey short stay car park ahead , as roadway is also initially shared with short stay street level parking .”
“A very slick process but is in danger of becoming a victim of its own success as one has to walk much further to retreave the car than last year! Also, if you alter the steering wheel and seat position, please return it. Shame the window was left open, but no damage and they were very apologetic.”
“Easy to book ahead. The car park I booked was just a short walk from the terminal building. Parked easily, car was still there when I came back, so all good.”
