“Dropping the car off was at fastpark was easy enough. However the advertised 1 minute walk to terminal is a dubious claim. Return pick up could also have been better - firstly how difficult is it to mark a clear walking route too fastpark? Could be better. And when I scanned my ticket to open the collection box, it managed to close itself before I got to it. Had the faff of finding an attendant to get it opened.
Driving out the car park, the instructions didn't match what needed to be done. It stays to drive up to barrier and it will automatically rise. But for the fastpark exit you need to take a ticket, the barrier rises automatically at the next exit. I might have missed it but I didn't receive it or see that noted.”
“It’s the perfect place to park & it cost me just over £100 so I was a bit dissapointed that when I returned from holiday and trying to get my car key I was charged a further £25 don’t know why but I had to pay it to get my key THEN when I reached the last gate where you collect a ticket I had to pay a further £7 I tried calling the help button to no avail so had to pay before the ticket worked to lift the barrier think I might catch that 5 minute bus next time”
“Excellent parking. Only spoiler is the sticker for the Fast Park, when applied to a Tesla keycard, is really hard to get off, and leaves a really sticky residue. Please don't place the sticker on the key.”
“Despite booking and paying for the parking, I couldn’t get out of the barrier. This is at least the second time this has happened. I had to call first assistance”
“Exiting the Terminal the initial signage to Mid Stay is poor we took the right hand lane to Car Rentals and had to turn back the followed the left hand walk walk lane marked Taxis. Only when you proceed beyond this another 100 metres are the car park signs in view.”
“Third time to use this car park and first two times were excellent. This time, however, we were rather disappointed on the exit. We put our ticket in to be asked to pay £180 by card before the barrier went up. Apart from not having any cards with us to use as we only use cash when we are away, we didn’t owe any money as we were within the timeline. We were unable to contact anyone through the speaker at half past three in the morning and were only helped by the wonderful bus driver who appeared behind us. She told us it had been happening to people all night. Why didn’t somebody do something about it if that was the case? I understand technology has issues on occasion hence why I prefer cash but to not have dealt with it is poor service.”
“Checking online in advance was a big help. You could drop your keys off a bit quicker.
We arrived back from holiday around 1am, but we still managed to pick up the car key quickly.
There were also staff around on arrival and departure.
It is also a very short walk from the car park to the airport building.”
