Booking was easy, reception was fine, price was fine. Finding a space on arrival was difficult and time consuming. Some drivers had ended up parking in roadway junctions, making manoeuvring round corners difficult. Bus pick up in car park was fine. Dumping departing passengers with their luggage at a bus stop well over three hundred yards from the airport was not fine. Indeed it's unacceptable and you failed to highlight the lengthy walk in the booking process. Last time I used the service buses came and went from in front of the terminal. On getting off the bus there were no trollies available, no information about where to find them and no staff to help. Those who have disabilities might struggle, as I did, having to drag their cases over the uneven walkway surface. In the last 100 yards before the terminal there is open ground, with no cover from the weather, but crossing it makes the shortest route to the terminal. However signage directed us to take the long way round thus, again, showing how little thought has been given to those with mobility problems. The return journey was even grimmer. Signs in the airport were poor - I saw no sign at international arrivals or in the main concourse directing passengers to anything like a 'longstay car park' or buses for this. Just signs saying variously 'Exit' and 'Car park'. Outside an airport door I found a sign indicating that stop 10 was for a longstay car park but no indication that this was Edinburgh airport's longstay carpark. We therefore simply decided to go back the way we had come and made the return journey along the still uneven and poorly lit walkway (8.30 pm). We waited nearly 10 minutes in the rain and cold for a bus. Other buses for rival car parks came and went twice as we waited. There was no information about frequency of buses and no information that you actually run a bus to the longstay car park at all from that stance. When a bus finally arrived it went from bus stop 1 directly to stop 3 and omitted 2. Was I supposed to tell the driver if I wanted 2? He didn't ask where anyone was going. I have used longstay car parks in Glasgow airport which work much better.

Your website states that you have number plate recognition. This worked on the way in on my pre-booking and my registration number was printed on the ticket. However, it did not work on the way out, which, as usual, caused a delay. As far as I can recall, your number plate recognition system has never worked at the exit on either my last car or my current one. If this does not work properly, or at all, I do not think it should be advertised on your website. Or, if it does not work, you should compensate users automatically, particularly in light of the high cost of parking there.

Edinburgh airport is set up for the benefit of its staff and retail outlets, not for the convenience of travellers. Travellers have to walk miles around the airport to get to where they need to be. Firstly the car park drop of point is way the other side of the multi story, the entry to the airport has been altered so you have to walk miles to get to check in. After check in you are forced to walk though duty free, with shoppers blocking aisles, great if you are in a rush. security is just a zoo, even if you have fast track, the agents continually put regular travellers in front of you. The airport is too hot, great for the staff, but horrible as you have to walk miles in the heat. Gates are not announced until too late before the flight is due to leave, so if the gate is at the other end of the airport you are short of time. Rarely do flights leave on time, making connections through hubs sometimes difficult. Too often on returning to the airport you are dumped on busses and not on jet ways, the busses take a tour of the airport before dropping you off miles away for another long walk back. Return of bags is one of the slowest anywhere in the world, particularly if you come in international late at night. Then you have the long walk back to bus pick up point. The client is the traveller, not the staff or retail outlets. I travel a lot and unfortunately have to use Edinburgh airport regularly, and it really is one of the worst.

Very very confusing. We paid top fare to have car under cover. The booking said Terminal Park but instructions talked about roundabout were not clear at all. We got it wrong into the drop off area, that means £1 wasted to get out as it is a trap. Start again and signals do not talk about terminal parking. Had to stop in the drop off entrance to ask and reverse a bit to get in. Then after a few turns we found how to get to the covered area. We were unsure if it was the correct place so we asked to operator for peace of mind. He said it was OK. On return the machine at the exit barrier pretended to charge 270 quid, we had a conversation with operator through the machine. He let us go but pointed I was at the wrong terminal parking. I still not sure who is right, but I'm sure I will avoid parking there again.

Departing :- Getting through security is very poor. We were on Business class flights, had fast track and from what I saw it was a free for all with people in other lanes just walking over. Arrivals :- We arrived from Abu Dhabi, taken through a "makeshift corridor" into "a shed". It was more like arriving into a poor third world country. Not a good advert for people coming into Scotland for their first visit.

The parking itself was great and fast track ensured we were through security quickly, however yet again I was asked to pay on leaving the car park and had to buzz through with reference details this is such an inconvenience and not a premium service . not the first time it has happened to me !

I was a pre paid customer. Your website explicitly tells customers " At the entry barrier, your registration number will be recognised. A ticket will be printed showing your registration and booking details. The barrier will open." There is no number plate recognition system in place!! I arrived at the barrier and waited as detailed, nothing,,,, by this time I had 5 or 6 cars behind me so I had to take a ticket and come back out, this cost me £3.90, by this time I'm not a happy chappie. Running around asking policemen and taxi drivers, getting soaked and no one knew how I was meant to get in. I eventually notices a speaker button on the consul, someone asked me for my reference number and issued me with a ticket. Why was that information not detailed instead of the number plate recognition system. In conclusion service not good. My Booking reference was: EDI-TSOS-3154163 - Can someone from Edinburgh Airport Parking please refund my £3.90 Kind Regards James

Car parking at Edinburgh is prohibitively expensive for users like myself who have no access to public transport links. I used the Mid Stay car park on my recent short trip because it was £1 less than the long stay car park - at £29.99 for 17 hours this was not a bargain. The mid stay car park is adjacent to the long stay and billed as 5 mins walk to the terminal - I walk somewhat briskly and it definitely took longer than that. I would also add that there was a section behind a portable cabin that made me very wary as a woman walking by herself at 10pm. Travellers like myself are stuck by circumstance into using the car parking and it always feels like a complete rip off.

The parking is very expensive and a couple of tips. When you select and book by advanced payment, its much cheaper. But be careful when you drive up to the barrier, don't press the button for a ticket, as they will try and charge you the full amount when you leave unless you have your booking reference to hand. Apparently you have to wait several seconds and it will then issue you a ticket automatically Be careful when using the Multi Story Car park, at the entrance to the building as you turn left they have placed Red Poles to keep you left but it is very tight and the shape of the kerb, can mean an expensive alloy being damaged.

I booked the business valet parking service at a cost of £74.99 as a bit of a treat as i was going away for weekend with my wife. I drove to the end of the fast track bridge where the business valet parking was signposted but there was no one there to meet us , we waited for a while and still no one came so we ended up parking the car ourselves in the multistorey car park. I was totally disappointed with the non existent service that they provided .

I have used your service for most of the last eight years. It has always worked well, but I am aware recently that the price you are asking has risen out of all proportion to anything in the economy. The service has always been good, but the value you now offer is much lower than before. You are asking much more for the same service. When the cost of parking for a week is almost the same as the flight we are into "Rip-off Britain" territory.

When I entered, my car number was not detected. In this my experience, unfortunately twice.

I prepaid for mid car park so I thought after I came back from my trip I just drive up to gate and Away I go. But gate didn't open and ticket said I had outstanding balance to pay I pressed intercom but didn't work so noone to ask and my phone battery died. I ended up paying the cost again as needed to get home. Don't understand if prepaid why an outstanding balance as I was only there 12hrs. System not very good then. Now I'm trying to get my second payment back. If this issue doesn't happen again then I would use this service again but unfortunately not at this time

The mid term car park is quite a long walk from the terminal. The description presented in the advertisement does not match the reality of following a tortuous path across tram lines and winding through various ugly buildings to arrive at the far end of the airport. It is even further to walk on return to International Arrivals. I will avoid this car park in future. However it does match the overall decline in standards at Edinburgh Airport over the past several years. A place best avoided if at all possible.

Parking is very expensive, and no loyalty program. Entry and Exit to the Mid Stay program is way too tight for larger cars. Routes in and out of the airport are also chaotic.

I am a frequent business flyer. This is the first time I have ever had issues with finding a space in the long stay car park, even in the furthest away areas. There were even cars parked in non designated areas where other drivers had clearly encountered the same issue. Fortunately I had arrived very early so was able to wait and watch the terminal buses arrive to take a space as someone exited. (20 mins) I'm guessing this issue will be linked to recent splitting of the parking area to create the higher priced 'walk to terminal' spaces. There is a massive risk now that your long stay areas will be oversubscribed and people who have paid in advance will not be able to get the service they are entitled to. If I encounter this issue again on my next journey I will be changing to the other car park operators.

Very expensive and seems to go up each time I travel. Mid stay is really part of the old long stay car park. Prices have almost doubled in 3 years. Also, the last 2 times I have pre booked I have still had to call for help at the barrier due to the system saying I am due the full amount. Very average for the price!

Edinburgh airport now has some of the most expensive parking charges in the UK. They are guilty of blatant profiteering and people should seek alternative off airport parking whenever possible.

Have used the Long Stay car park for years and it was a great service. The bus dropped you off at the entrance to the terminal and picked you up there too. Now the bus drops you off at a bus parking area and it is quite a trek to get from there into the terminal added to the fact that most people have luggage to cope with too. Same when you come back, a long trek from the terminal back to the bus park. This service is not as convenient as before.

Pre paid my parking only to get back off my holiday to be stopped at the exit barrier to be told I owed £265, had to walk around at 2am to find a parking attendant to validate my payment so I could leave, won't be using again!!!
