The usual hassle getting out of the carpark. Invariably I turn up at the exit to be informed that I owe hundreds of pounds to get, when in reality I booked and paid in advance. Just another nuisance holdup

Did not work, prepaid and then, when leaving, the ticket did not open the barrier and a charge of £405 was quoted. No-one around and took a while to work out how to get help. My advice, keep your confirmation email and have it ready when you are leaving or you won't get out

We arrived and couldn't get through the gate, the registration wasnt recognised, spoke to the person and they let us through. On return, got to the gate and it didn't recognise the ticket - looking for £300. Again had to speak to someone who let us through, meanwhile traffic was building up behind. Not the best service.

There is no signage for Valet parking when leaving the arrivals area meaning it is difficult to find. Very frustrating!

Hugly over booked , i got the last space in the carpark, which took some finding, spaces are also tiny, with people having to wait for people to return before parking if I'm a rush can't recommend, some people had to just abandon their cars on the edge's .

Very difficult to park. The long stay car park was rammed full when we arrived with cars abandoned everywhere. Signage when we arrived back at 3am not easy to follow or clear. Asked a bus driver for directions and which bus to get on and were told we didn't need a bus and directed us to walk. With piles of luggage and two small children vey frustrating as this was wrong information and we had to go back and get a bus. Not clear which bus to get unless you find someone to ask that knows what they are doing.

The car parking was excellent but the overall customer experience was poor. Long unmanaged queues at check in made passing through the check in hall very difficult. The worst part though was the return. There was a 50 mom wait for bags. I have travelled all over the world and Edinburgh airport Is the worst for baggage delivery.

Parking was no problem. We had prepaid. On leaving it was displayed that we owed £79. Luckily we still had our booking reference to verify this. It was quite embarrassing to have to hold up the traffic queue to contact someone to let us out.

Number plate recognition system did not work, so difficult to get out of the car park, despite having pre-paid. Operator on the intercom particularly unhelpful.

I was very disappointed with my recent parking at Edinburgh Airport. On arriving to park the car, I was initially quite pleased to be told that due to a lack of space in the car park I would be moved free of charge to one nearer the terminal. I was given a chit and told to hand it in on my return to the airport at the office. As I knew I would be coming off a red eye flight (after 12 hours in the air), I decided to check at the office before departure instead. There, the desk clerk took the chit from me and insisted that I would not need it on return as my car registration was on my ticket. I suggested I should hang on to the chit just in case but he was adamant and refused to give it back to me. On my return, I was dismayed to discover I had been right all along, as when I put in my ticket to exit the car park a bill for £580 came up on the machine. Although I was able, after some back and forth and a stressful rummage around for my booking, to sort this out over the speaker with another member of staff, it was incredibly stressful and a dreadful end to what should have been a pleasant holiday. Better staff training regarding the moving of cars from one car park to another is certainly required - as is training regarding how to deal with customers. If the first clerk had simply given me the chit back as I requested, none of this would have occurred.

I felt the addition of Mid parking is a good idea, and the location is good (walking signage to and from terminal could be better). However I was disappointed by the exit procedure which is restricted to one lane. Also my prepaid ticket did not let me out (asked for £90!). I had to speak to assistance and was required to delve into emails to find a booking reference before being let out. This resulted in a queue of impatient drivers (beeping). Not surprising at 11pm at night when all you want to do is get home! So considering the cost of the parking I rate it poor.

I returned to my car after 10 days in the long stay car park to find it damaged. The rear bumper was misaligned and a knocking noise was heard from the nearest wheel during driving. Customer services were not helpful: I filled out an incident report form and was told to contact the police. The police were also unhelpful (as my postcode was in England, not Scotland), as was our breakdown cover, and in the end I was left within the long stay car park with a damaged car and no assistance. We had a 4 hour motorway journey ahead of us in a car that we didn't know was roadworthy. In the end I had to risk it and drive the car (along motorway) to a nearby garage. Edinburgh Airport Parking could have been far more helpful, either by calling a mechanic at their expense (the car was, after all, damaged within their 'secure' car park) or by providing CCTV evidence (which they point-blank refused to do). All in all a horrible experience.

I drove around for 30 minutes unable to find a parking space. Fearful of missing my flight I ended up having to hope for the best and parking in the pick up area.

The barrier failed to recognize we had pre booked and prepaid. When my husband tried to exit a week later there was also a failure to identify the pre booked- pre paid status and the machine demanded £177 to open the barrier. My husband had to phone and even then he had to provide the booking reference when it should all have been done with number plate recognition. Compared to other airport car parks we regularly use it was very unsatisfactory.

Have used both the multi-storey car park and valet parking recently. Road lay-out / signage at Airport best described as appalling. On returning to collect my car from the multi-storey discovered my car damaged. Valet parking the better option. Staff polite / welcoming although on returning to collect car noticed staff had parked the car with one tyre hard against the kerb.

What I find very frustrating is that each time I have booked car parking with you(paid for in full online at time of reservation!)when I return to my vehicle and try to exit the car park my ticket always states that I'm due to pay the full price before I can exit the car park!WHY? I was lead to believe that your technology had vehicle number plate recognition and I thought you would know that I had already paid in full. I am then asked to quote my booking reference ... fortunately I had this information with me as I had been questioned in the same manner on a previous trip.Other car parks near by don't operate in this way and I would be furious if I had to pay twice because I couldn't provide my booking reference. Can you explain? I'm due to book car parking for October and not sure which car park I should use. regards Fiona Gay ... fifig69@yahoo.co.uk......07719700680

I found the car park layout a bit confusing, and with narrow parking spaces. I had prebooked and prepaid, and the confirmation letter said just to go to the exit with my ticket. When I did, the barrier said "Outstanding £240" !!! I had to use the intercom, and they let me out (but no explanation). Will need to watch my credit card in case they take £240!

On arrival no spaces could be found. People parking at sides,on pavements etc. Some cars looked as if abandoned where possible. Worrying if in rush for a flight.
