There was no indication of where to park. I drove round and round for ages looking for an empty space. Eventually I concluded I'd be late for my flight if I did not just dump the car on a patch of road where it wouldn't cause too many obstructions. This is poor when I had paid good money to park here. When I came to leave the car park, the system concluded I owed some £30 odd for excess parking. In fact I'd pre-paid and owed nothing. It was all cleared when i pressed the button at the exit otherwise I'd rate very poor. Also the transport worked fine

We booked online andhad high expectation that we had a parking space. Upon arrival at the car park there were no spaces. After driving around for a full 15 minutes we had to leave the car on a piece of curbing.

Despite pre-paying for parking on-line, and returning to car within time allocated, despite taking 1.5 hours to come through border control and collect luggage, when I presented my ticket at barrier, was prompted that I owed £256!!! A shock I could have done without, thankfully I had my on-line booking reference printed off so was able to present that, and we were allowed to leave, but no explanation as to why this happened?

I found it very hard to find a parking space, I couldn't see anyone in the car park to point me in the right direction where to park. So I had to park alongside a kerb. There was also a big que when leaving as a lot of the pre purchased tickets were not working. I put my ticket in, it said £70 outstanding. It eventually got sorted out. Never ran as smoothly as expected.

Long wait for baggage after arrival of flight - had to wait for an hour before bags delivered to belt 7. Six other flights on same belt so hundreds of people all trying to remove bags at the same time. No trolleys anywhere in the hall and no-one to help. Could be MUCH better.

I have used the multi storey fast track for a weekend away on 2 occasions recently and both times have had issues getting thru the barriers. Supposed to be number plate recognition.

I use Edinburgh Airport a lot for business travel and it is shocking how the car parking charges have increased over the last few years.

I phoned the parking team to check that there were disabled spaces in the Mid Stay car park, and that it would be feasible to get a wheelchair there from the terminal. I was also advised that I could contact the team there to get my mums blue badge photocopied, enabling me to leave a photocopy in my car. On arrival, however, there were no disabled spaces, and it was too far to go and get a wheelchair. My mum therefore had to walk to the terminal using her walker, which she wasn't really fit to do. There were also no trolleys, therefore my mum had to manage with both of my kids, while my partner and I had to carry the luggage. She was anxious about the flight already and this just added to her anxiety, prior to flying. Maybe I booked the wrong car park for disabled access, however I was not told when I phoned, or advised accordingly.

They appear to sell more tickets than they have places: you spend precious time before your flight driving round, avoiding all the cars parked outside the marked areas, trying to find a safe and legal place to park. If they're going to over-sell tickets like that, they should hire someone to find you a place and prevent dangerous parking outside the marked areas.

Spent around 20 minutes trying to find a space in the long stay car park on arrival. Many cars parked up on kerbs and on islands. If you don't have enough car parking places, then don't sell the space. I haven't got time to waste, when I need to catch a flight. Transfers on return are a good distance from the terminal too. Car park well marked with signage, so you know exactly where your car is located. This is very clear and a good positive.

Car park easy to find. But it's a long walk from where the bus drops you off to terminal. My husband has mobility issues so this was not good for him. Won't be using this car park again because of it.

This is the third time my husband and I have used Edinburgh Airport Parking in the past 3 months, having prepaid our parking online. Each time on leaving the car park at the end of our trip, when we put our parking card in the machine at the barrier, we have been asked to pay the full amount. On Thursday 11 August that was £510. Each time we have to buzz for assistance, quote our details etc. Very frustrating indeed, especially when drivers behind get impatient. There must be a way to improve this. The toilets at Edinburgh Airports are in very poor condition. Not the standard of an international airport at all.

I've used this parking quite a few times but didn't rate this visit at all. Struggled to find a space and found it difficult to maneuver around the car park due to many cars being abandoned on islands and at junctions where they should not have been. When we eventually found a space we waited for the bus but along with another couple we gave up and walked to the terminal - not ideal with a 4 year old. To top it off when we returned and tried to leave we were informed that we were due £110 for our parking, this was despite prepaying before we arrived. We were extremely accurate with our timings I should point out. We then had to find our confirmations for the assistant before we could leave, which was hardly ideal at 1 am when all you want to do is go home. For the money we paid, in the region of £60+ this was a very poor service.

Badly signposted to find the area to park in. On my return the prepaid ticket did not work and this is the last thing you want regarding a late night return flight. Must say when I pressed the button to complain the issue was quickly resolved with the barrier being raised. I realise that you have to offer discount to clear unsold tickets but a colleague of mine paid over £50 extra to park in the same zone during the same time! If this had been me I would not have been impressed.

No email confirmation when i booked, so thought the booking hadnt gone through so rebooked. Same thing happened. I called and had booked twice but no confirmation email or email of cancellation of one of the bookings. When i arrived the ticket machine gives no indication that it recognises your car until you press for a ticket. When i exited the ticket was not recognised as prepaid and wanted me to pay an additional £250 so had to call for help.. awful experience

Two times this year I have used the service ,booking on line on the deals on offer on the web . Both times on returning to Edinburgh and leaving the parking facility I have been asked asked for the money to be paid when I had already paid by card on line. I have to say on speaking to the help line I have been let through with no extra charge. However the hassle and inconvenience can be upsetting at the end of a long flight.

Be aware that if you use their mid stay parking you are in for a very long walk. Its a long walk from the car park to the terminal to the check in desks. However if you happen to be returning from Belfast on Flybe, the distance on return is more than doubled! None of the outside walk to the terminal or back to your car is covered - so if its raining - prepare to get wet! Its a better choice to use a car park that has a shuttle service - no walking plus you can stay dry as under cover!

The registration wasn't read automatically on the way in, had to get help to get a ticket. On way home in pouring rain the ticket couldn't be read . Had to call again for help & guy couldn't find registration or surname for booking. Then asked if we had used our ticket to try to get out...not impressed thanks

No parking spaces available and no staff to assist. In the end just left the car in the carpark to ensure I caught my flight. Lots of other cars in the car park with the same problem.
