I have parked in the long stay parking before and although price and service is adequate. this is now the second time on trying to leave the car park thy have tried to bill me for £96.00??? also is it so hard to train your drivers to be polite and smile. thy make what should be a good experience (going on holiday) feel uncomfortable. I will try flying scots next time

The Edinburgh airport car parking facility is excellent and deserves "very good" in the overall rating. Location is close to the airport, easy to find and fairly reasonable in cost. Unfortunately my flight was delayed and consequently I was hit with a £60 charge for being less than an hour over the pre-booked time arranged when booking the car park online. I feel this charge was extremely excessive and troublesome. After already feeling tired after a long journey with the delayed flight, this has made me very reluctant to use this service again.

Driving to the Airport from road signage good, parking to surface parking could have been better,Google twittered on about Hilton Hotel, just tell me left, right or straight on from major route, parking itself, hints as to nearest, particularly if elderly travellers

Its clear that the elf and safety brigade were given carte blanche to do whatever they wanted in this car park - the place is littered with endless signs and road markings everywhere - its signage diarrhea, they are so many signs that the useful ones get lost. People are so stupid apparently they need a marked lane to walk down each row to get to the terminal building in case they get run over by the blindingly obvious car travelling at 10mph- oh for the survival of the fittest. I am surprised they haven't put in pelican crossings. If you have parked in the multi-storey and you have luggage to check in you have to walk out of the covered building across the uncovered road get wet and then check in - if someone had spent less on consultants for b signs they might have had some cash to make a completely covered walk way to the terminal - like what they do in Zurich, Frankfurt, Geneva, Malaga, Paris etc etc where they don't have signage diarrhea, but then this is the peepuls rrrrepublic of stupidity

I booked and advance paid for 5 days parking in the mid stay car park from November 28th until December 2nd. I got back to Edinburgh on a late flight from Budapest but still well within the parking time I had paid for. When I tried to exit the car park , the gate would not open and the ticket machine said that I owed £150. I called the attendant who resolved the issue and opened the gate but this soured what would otherwise have been a good parking experience and as it was late at night was an additional hassle I could have done without.

Having used the airport parking before and everything going smoothly was expecting the same, but this time the R Car reg wasn't recognised when we entered, when we came out the same happened and the machine said we owed £119,not what you want to see when you just want to go home after a 3 hour flight! The gentleman at the end of the other end of the query button was very good and we got through. When I got home double checked my booking to see if I had put the car reg in wrong ,but that was not the issue. Will still book like this next time because I know there is someone who can fix it ,but hopefully next time I will be able to give 5 stars.

Last 3 times I visited the car park having pre-booked the camera at the gate has not recognised by number plate. Before I arrived yesterday I cleaned my number plate to ensure that dirt wasn't the problem. Very frustrating when you have to go to the office at 11p.m. because the camera didn't work

I booked and paid and then would not be released until I paid again. I tried to e mail with this and the e mail was rejected.

Not sure why there are two barriers to negotiate for the multi-storey this is just inconvenient. On return the ticket did not recognise that I had already paid. Had to provide name and registration and it took a while for the person on the intercom to confirm that I had paid and open the barrier. No apology for the service failure. Just could be a better al lround experience at the price charged.

Booking is really straight forward. Arrived and received my pre-paid automated ticket as promised. Returning not so straightforward. Put my pre-paid ticket in to leave and was confronted with £95 overdue charge. Car aside me had a £70 overdue charge. We looked at each other in disbelief. Contacted the customer service team via terminal. No customer service skills apparent. Asked for booking reference number which we had to search for amongst luggage not having expected to be asked to provide proof of purchase following admission to car park on arrival. Once providing reference access out of car park granted. No apology then and no apology since. Customer service is very poor. Need to do much better.

On arrival back and after placing card in, exit machine showed a bill due for £185.00 even although prepaid. Had difficulty identifying buttons on card reader due to inadequate lighting at machine. Finally found one to communicate with office but required reference number on booking form which meant exiting car to obtain requiring car to be reversed to open door. After giving Ref. No. on speaker barrier opened but closed as car was parked back from machine requiring process to be done again with car positioned at machine. Process could have been much better if, 1. Machine had worked. 2. Adequate lighting was available 3. Better information from staff.

Car park is convenient to get to and bus service to airport is efficient. However, twice in a row, barriers have not recognised my pre-payment and tried to charge me again for parking.

Expensive! Parking at Edinburgh, why so expensive? One of the slowest security systems, never enough staff to process the travellers.

I was very happy with parking in the multi-storey car park, however, I don't understand why the doors are closed at the airport opposite the car park entrance. When our flight arrived back we had a long walk to passport control and also had to negotiate stairs. An escalator would be very useful and a moving walkway for those people who are less able but don't require assistance. Again we had to walk a fair distance to exit the building and when outside double back towards the multi-storey car park entrance.

The long stay car park was poorly signposted. I was short on time and ended up parking in the Premiair car park instead. Signposts to the collection point for the bus back to the car park could be clearer.

Had a problem when exiting carpark. Although I had prepaid when I put my ticket in the machine at the barrier it said I had to pay £630. This is the third time this has happened in these Car parks.

I book terminal parking in advance. On most occasions it is difficult to find a space and on EVERY occasion my prepaid ticket is rejected at the exit barrier meaning I need to contact admin to get out.
