“I booked and pre paid for surface terminal parking. On exit I was asked to pay £60. When I pressed the assistance button it was quickly resolved and the barrier was lifted.
Not the hassle needed after a long overnight flight from USA.”
“The car park was extremely busy and struggled to find a space. There were a few cars parked on double yellow line or up on the kerb. The walking route to the airport from the car park was not well signposted.”

“Price was supposed to include entry to Fast Track security through dedicated route direct from car park. Walked a distance to bridge only to find door locked. Then had to walk all the way back to main route. Wasn’t bothered about Fast Track security as airport was pretty empty but not happy about there being no advance notification that entry route was closed. Expect far better for the price being charged.”
“Arrived at the airport on Sunday at 12.30pm and struggled to find a parking space. Eventually had to squeeze into a space between two large vehicles. Not a good experience.”
“My number plate is never recognised for a pre booked ticket so always have to buzz someone. Plus directions from airport could be clearer at night after a long day I got lost.”
“It was good when we arrived found it no problem. Returning home we were disappointed that we had to pay to get out of the airport it was only £4 but unexpected.”
“There is a lack of signage at the roundabout at the Hilton hotel to direct you properly especially for people who have never used this facility before. What length of period determines a mid stay as I could not see this on the website I.e. minimum & maximum stay. Once located it is a very simple process and close to the terminal for ease of access.
My issue concerned the exiting the car park. The machine on the exit barrier displayed an extortionate exit fee of £90 over twice what I had paid already. After a two hour delay from my airline concern was already there about a surcharge. When pressing for assistance the colleague at the barrier to my name and registration of the car then thankfully advised there was in fact no surcharge as the automatic number plate registration camera had not picked up my number plate on arrival. This was a unnecessary error on the airports behalf. Other than that this was an ideal way to minimise any further delays in returning home.”
“Arrived home and went to scan ticket to get keys and no keys waited ages to get someone to finally get our car brought down to us got in car barrier open n never gave us a ticket got to next barrier and we never had a ticket to get out so had to get help”
“Drop off experience was fantastic. So easy and great help on the way. Pick up experience was OK, but the video makes out the car is just sitting there at reception waiting for you but my car was parked forty five spaces away so not exactly convenient with a family and bags with us.
Seperate feedback note related to the service: Also think they could do something to accommodate twilight bag drop off so you can run in and out with your bags because that ended up costing me another £10 the night before.”
“The signposting for the mid stay car parking is not adequate to get to the gate and then you can easily drive past so the entrance sign needs to be more visible.Cannot fault the staff on the end of the help button as I had misplaced my ticket.So the initial impression is sullied by the signage but made up for by the human help.It is of course very handy for the main building.”
“Drop off was quick and easy. However there was an error when we came back and our keys were not in the locker. A staff member came to assist and resolved the issue for us as quickly as she could (about 15-20 mins). Even so we would use the service again.”
