Long stay Parking was fine apart from finding the path to the terminal.
Also on return the path/route was a bit hard to find so suggest more signs plz.”

you get slapped with a £4 exit bill from the short stay car park!
Poor practice and not transparent in the Fastpark section of the Edinburgh Airport website.
We picked our car up on Saturday 24th September 2022, early morning around 1.00am from Fastpark space C17, however, when attempting to get out of the Fastpark car park, during very heavy rain and in the dark conditions, with poor lighting, we followed an exit sign on the road to the right-hand side of the Fastpark building. We ended up in the short stay car park, and duly collected a ticket at a barrier, only then to be asked to insert that ticket into a machine to get out of the short stay car park and we were charged £4! This is not acceptable. Poor service, and direction by Edinburgh Airport.
Otherwise, the experience was good.”
“Barrier issues at entry and exit. Terrible night of rain on arrival and got soaked going back to car park.
Tried locating the intercom button at midnight to get out as the ticket showing inadequate entry data. It is not at all easily visible.”
“Owing to the French Air Traffic Controllers strike this caused me a problem with the booking in process apparently after two hours your booking is cancelled but not notified to you but thanks to the staff on site it was all sorted out within 15 Minutes, coming back although delayed was a breeze , suggest notification to customers that have booked with you who have been caught up in a strike in the future via an email please regards”
“Easy to park, however on return I was asked to pay £520 although I had pre-paid and was within the time I had booked. Had to reverse the car to go through another barrier. Got out after 10 minutes discussing with a guy over the intercom”
“Usually an excellent experience, however last two bookings the exit barrier wanted to charge £100s pounds for ‘unpaid’ fees. This seems to becoming a recurring theme and puts a damper on the return from holidays.”
“Easy to find on way in. Hard to find on way out of terminal. Got charged £4 to exit the short stay despite paying £55 and apparently having 2 hours leeway.
Computer terminal should be able to scan boarding pass to find flight.”
“The service was so easy to use and so smooth- great to get away from the airport quickly- however our car was scratched at the front when we collected it”
“It's pointless booking online in terms of speed of exit etc. I have used numerous times and it always asks me for payment even though I have paid online. I then need to call someone ( who is always very helpful!)
Signage around the car parks is also really bad, low level barriers creating walkways isn't good,you aren't a building site and given the price to park you should have this covered off properly.”
“Parking at the airport multi storey was very convenient and easy and I would have given it 5 stars, however, on the way out when we put the ticket in the machine to get out it tried to charge us so we then had to go through all the fuss of speaking to someone and getting them to verify that the parking had been paid. At 2am in the morning its the last thing you need!”
“Fairly easy to park on arrival, helpful friendly staff on hand.
On my return I couldn’t find the car park due to lack of signage. I did eventually find it, but as I was already tired from a long flight, this really detracted from the experience.
I will use them again, now that I have figured out where everything is.”
“There is little or no signage from the long term car park to the terminals. I arrived early in the morning and trying to find my way out of the car park in the dark, on foot was very difficult. Very poor lighting. Please, please better lighting and signage for pedestrians.”
“This is the first time I've used terminal parking having usually used mid stay parking which is so easy. I found terminal parking stressful as there were no spaces to be had when we arrived and I was driving round for 10 minutes before seeing a sign for additional terminal parking. It would have been helpful to have known this beforehand. Also as I have mentioned in review of midstay parking it would be helpful to let customers know by email that they need to insert parking ticket into machine to validate it as many people drive up to barrier and have to speak to an assistant.”
“Very difficult to find spaces, we weren’t advised to go to the overflow car park until we’d searched for a spot for 10 minutes. The car park itself was also very difficult to find, and we were told to go to the FastPark, which is not what we’d booked.”
“I booked and pre paid for surface terminal parking. On exit I was asked to pay £60. When I pressed the assistance button it was quickly resolved and the barrier was lifted.
Not the hassle needed after a long overnight flight from USA.”
“The car park was extremely busy and struggled to find a space. There were a few cars parked on double yellow line or up on the kerb. The walking route to the airport from the car park was not well signposted.”
