“Accessibility to terminal is great but trying to get a space after paying high tariff for 36 hours is ridiculous. I had to wait approx 25 mins to get parked, driving around until success. No one should be delayed checking in because of parking!”
“They didn't entirely make me happy. There was some initial difficulty in getting a space or of getting a sensible result from the website and phone calls were not helpful. However, once the process could be properly accessed it was easy enough to book as it has been before. I did note the price was quite a bit higher than I have paid for the same amount of time in this car park before. Don't know if that is a seasonal increase.”
“Not able to park close enough to the terminal. Having previously booked terminal surface we were nearly as far away as mid stay parking and this was disappointing.”
“It is quite difficult to follow directions to the park, you need to drive around quite a bit to find a space. Bus pick ups are good and very regular. On returning it was a shambles. Middle of the night, lashing with rain so you count make out the area posts in the park. The bus driver didn't let you know where he was stopping. Everyone on the bus was really confused?!? Got there in the end so hey ho....”
“The Long stay car park is convenient and the bus transfer to the terminal is good - though the car park labels the bus stop 'Express parking' and the bus driver refers to it as 'Valet Parking'. Confusing!
The reason this review is 'acceptable' rather than 'good' is because either the vehicle recognition system or the exit gate is unreliable. Despite having booked in advance, I have had to call the gate operator with my booking reference to get the barrier lifted MORE THAN ONCE! Annoying when you just want to get home!”
“It was an odd booking as I was booked in the midstay but this was closed due to the bus/tram and I was directed to the short stay car park at the terminal. This was fine and I got to the short stay and was admitted to the car park fairly easily. When I left the terminal on the Friday evening the car was ecognised and I was able to leave very efficiently.”
“The distance from the surface car park to the terminal building is, as described, a short walk and was good value. However, the parking spaces are very tight and not ideal for even today's medium-sized vehicles never mind the larger SUVs.”
