“Was great to be close to the terminal but due to delayed flight and late leaving car park by under 2 hours...we were charged more when leaving the car park. Needs to be a bit more flexible on terms. Never had that problem at Gatwick!”

“The parking itself was fine. What was very frustrating was how you were directed out of the car park. To get out of the car park, you were directed to a roadway close to the multi storey parking which was was also where taxis collected and dropped passengers. This meant the exit roadway was block by the taxi's along most of its length. Getting out of the car park mean a long queue. The car park exit system was very badly designed and I will not be using this car park again.”
“When I arrived, the car park I had booked - and paid for - was full. I was told I would be upgraded to the terminal surface car park. On my return, I drove to the barrier, put my ticket in, and the screen told me I owed £150. The guy on the intercom wanted my booking reference which was on my phone, and which I could not locate immediately. However he did eventually ask my name and let me through. It was a most frustrating experience, especially at 11 pm when I was already tired and stressed.”
“I'd prebooked online. But when I arrived, the camera didn't scan my number plate, so I had to press the button, and I got a card to use on exit. Made me feel a bit anxious because at the payment machine I noticed it would cost £170 for a week. So I went to the portable cabin and spoke with a lady,she insured my it would be ok,and just to press the intercom on exit and quote my booking reference number ...1 week later I did that..and no problems ☺ after I'd spent half an hour looking for the car!!! Note to self..remember where you park!!😂”
“I always park in either the surface or long stay parking. However I left it too late and there was only the mid stay parking left. It’s a 10 min walk to the terminal which was fine going there as it was sunny. Landing at 2.30 in the morning and walking in the rain wasn’t so good. Wouldn’t recommend. Go for the long stay and get a bus to drop you at your car!”
“I have used the facility before and been perfectly happy. However, on this occasion we collected our car on 15th June, two day after a collision with a bus and tram.
We went to the pickup point for the bus to the carpark. A bus driver told us that there was no pickup because of the accident. There appeared to be no one stationed there to give travellers guidance. Thanks to information from the bus driver we made our way to the carpark via a long walk.
Once we found our car we left by the usual exit route. To our astonishment the road was closed with no directions for an alternative route. We made our way further along the road followed by several cars. We came to a dead end and it was only thanks to a passing employee that we were told to turn around and go in the other direction where we should meet a vehicle to guide us out over the airfield. Luckily we are local and found our way out past Turnhouse golf course. I imagine for anyone who was a stranger to the area and without sat nav if would have been very difficult.
I can appreciate that this was a very difficult situation but I think it was handled very poorly. At the very least there should have been someone at the usual exit to explain the alternative plan and which direction to take after being guided across the airfield.”

“only 3 stars because we had to walk from the terminal to the long stay car park with very little assistance, then on leaving the car park no signs to tell you how to get to A8. Otherwise entering and leaving
actual car park was fine”
“It was easy to get in and to park, and the vehicle was kept safe for the duration.
However, getting out of the car park was a nightmare - it took more than 90 minutes to do so due to extremely heavy traffic. Part of this was beyond your control (due to police activity), but there should have been many more staff on hand directing traffic, and there should have been information made available to users as to why the delay was going on and when it would be cleared.
In addition, there was eventually a message put on Twitter, but this massively downplayed the scale of the delays, the number of staff present, and the information that was available. I found this to be a particularly poor response, verging on the insulting. I should also note that for people coming to the airport, this message would have been very misleading, stating a slight delay rather than a massive one, which is not acceptable when there are flights to catch!”
“With the unfortunate accident on Wednesday on the tram line ,your temporally solution to returning customers was someone directing you to the car park,no signage!!
We had to inform people at bus stops within the park of the problem,automation taken to far.”
“I was in Long Stay Car Park and impacted by Bus/Tram incident on Thursday night. More staff should have been at the terminal bust stop to direct customers. I was happy to walk. 4 or 5 members of staff were at the mini roundabout directing cars to the alternative exit route. They did not seem to be doing much and not making much of an attempt to engage with customers. For example someone should have ben at the exit barriers and directing cars from there rather than cars driving to the min roundabout. Hope this helps.”
“Arriving at car park was easy to find an tranfer was quick . Return tranfer ok trying to leave car park a night mare due to amount of traffic exiting airport . Will not use long stay car park again !”
“Happy with the security of the car park which was very full at the time we arrived. Had to drive up and down several isles before we found one empty space. Bus promptly collected us although on our return which was late at night the bus seemed to be fairly slow to collect us from the terminal building”
