“Very busy in early August, full of cars parked all over pavements, double yellow lines etc., making it difficult to manoeuvre around the car park. Not one of them seemed to receive parking tickets so it seems you can park wherever you please in this car park without punishment! Poor pedestrian access to and from the airport and very poor signposting towards hotels. Seemed very badly set up for pedestrians in general. Airport grounds and car park littered with plastic bottles and discarded disposable vapes. Welcome to Scotland!”

“My car had an "odour" when I collected it that it didn't have when I dropped it off! Also - I understand that drivers may have to change seat and mirror positions. Bur why play with the audio?

“It is a parking space. I can park my car in it.
Sometimes overpriced and other times very affordable, depends on what day you book. £40-£150 range per day.
Regularly other customer park on the lanes blocking access, regularly customers in SUVs take up 2 spaces.”

“All very good until exiting the car park. The two exits (out of 3 in total) on the right did not work and I had to reverse twice after 2 failed attempts to get out. The exit on the left did however work after I saw 2 other cars exit successfully through it. Fortunately there was no one behind me when I was having to reverse. Very poor in that regard.”

“Had to change the day by adding one day, had to cancel whole
Booking and do another one at a much higher price and still not received a refund for f my first booking”

“Normally we have no probs but this time around the car park was seriously overbooked. When we arrived there were cars abandoned everywhere double parked, on the pavements, blocking road ends. We were very lucky to find a space, honestly needle in a haystack. Walk to and from terminal was all good, no issues.”

“This time we used plane parking - which is quite some distance from the airport. However the main problem was the availability of transport to and from the car park. We are a family of 4 and were travelling with two big suitcases and small bags. The van that came to pick up the passengers was small (at best a minibus). it was cramped, without enough seats for all the passengers and the luggage space was very poor as well. The frequency of the bus was also not good. We had to wait for 20 minutes before the bus came. Considering the number of cars parked at Plane parking I would advise that the relevant authorities fix the transport as soon as possible.
I will also say that Edinburgh airport long stay etc car parks are all fine. My complaint is only with the plane parking.”

“Even though I had paid for a parking space, there were cars everywhere. On double yellow lines, in front of pay stations and in areas needed to access areas of the car park.
I found a space eventually, however, I was not confident of doing so. It takes away from paying in advance. Which you would assume means you can be confident of actually getting a space”

“Poor signage on the approach. I followed a red sogn into an area that I assumed was Plane Parking. On returning, I realised the area was not part of the Plane Parking. My tyres had been deflated. Clearly the owners had thought I had parked illegally. I struggled to remove my vehicle and damaged a front tyre trying to find somewhere nearby to inflate my tyres. Nightmare. I accept it was my error but the signs need to be reviewed”

“The car park is pretty hard to maveuvre in due to the fact that there are clearly too many bookings and not enough spaces. People on the double yellow lines absolutely everywhere. I persisted in trying to find a space all over the car park and eventually managed to find a couple at the back right corner, but you either need to sell less tickets, or provide more adequate signage of where free spaces are located.”

“Plane parking is grossly over-priced, badly maintained and has only two bus stops to cover the entire car park, which is very difficult to navigate with cases as you have to walk in the middle of the road because the designated walkways are covered in loose stones. Please can you get someone to regularly brush them? The bus driver was also unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, not a good advert for people visiting Scotland's capital city.”
“Disappointing to be honest. Car park was 99% full so took quite some time to even find a place. Spaces are also very tight so some vacant ones were unusable as cars each side were at the extreme of their bays. To top it all, came back to find my car damaged by another customer scraping it. Great.”

“Exiting the car park is very challenging I damaged an alloy wheel as I had to change lanes as a customer in front of me was struggling to get out the exit is way way too narrow”
“It was not a good experience. The place is a mess. The parking was clearly overbooked, with cars parked on the lanes, even in double yellow lines, making it really difficult to drive. It then took me twenty minutes to find a regular parking space. Very stressful if you have to get to the terminal, also because you now have to walk as the bus service has been discontinued. Another bad decision, not the least because there was not a trolley in sight. I did eventually manage to find a stray one (people are abandoning them here and there and there is obviously nobody who goes round to collect them sufficiently regularly). Imagine my surprise though when I got to the taxi rank and there was dozens of trolleys which nobody used. As though most people arrived by taxi. Or does the airport think it is more important to make a show for people who can afford the taxi than to provide good service for the people who buy parking? I have been using the airport parking for years and it’s been a constant down hill in terms of prize and value and service. The current situation is a new low. The place is clearly mismanaged at the moment, with people in charge obviously not caring very much about customer experience because they know there is no alternative. Poor.”

“The car park was littered with cars parking outwith designated parking spaces. Either more cars are being permitted entry than there are spaces or there is no control over parking regulations. This needs to be resolved.
Parking charges are extortionate and there are few viable alternatives. Will use again but only because there is little choice”
