“On a nice day the short walk (6-7 minutes or so) is a pleasant leg stretcher before or after a plane journey. The availability of trolley rental for £2.00, card payment, is welcome. In the face of a gale carrying ice cold rain it can be a bit more challenging! Good prices, though.
As it is such a big car park it's worth taking a photo on arrival showing the landscape around your parking space; can save a bit of time or your return.”
“I was booked into the multi storey car park and I entered the airport at 3am when it was completely dark. I couldn't read the signs as they were not illuminated and were positioned too high for my headlights to pick them up. I drove around aimlessly for 10 minutes before I saw a low level sign for the car park I was booked into. On my return, I approached the barrier and inserted my ticket to exit when a message came up on the display saying that I was due to pay £840 before the barrier could be raised. As I had pre-paid the fee, I was none too happy about this, I then used the intercom to explain the situation and the barrier was then raised. All in all, a not too happy experience.”

“Straight forward booking and pricing is reasonable for the multi- storey if you book well ahead of time.
If using the twilight check in luggage drop off, it makes the security fast track option even quicker.
Some of the signage to the various carparks either needs to be clearer in the dark, or need a good clean so they're easier to read, and any coned off lanes need to have clearer indications of where to drive - we didn't have a problem but a couple of the cars in front of us did , which slowed things up a little.”
