Was not happy at all I was charged an extra £4 to get out the car park after paying £80 for the privilege for using the car park which I thought was very reasonable the flight back on the 23 June with jet 2 was delayed for 3 hours and we had paid until 12.30pm when we arrived and left the car park it was before 12.30pm so to be charged an extra £4 did not think that was excitable whether I recommend you to my friend's and family I will have to think about that one.

Pre-booked long stay for 5 days, luckily we got there around 2.5 hours before flight because we went round and round for about 30 minutes trying to find a space, cars had been ‘abandoned’ on double yellow lines, very stressful start to holiday, getting train next time

Parking very limited and no shuttle bus. Makes for a difficult and tiring trek from the car to the airport in all kinds of weather.

Thank you for your review. Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them. Stayed in the Long Stay car park, ok on the way out, but on the way back, cars parked all over the place, double yellow lines, up on kerbs, blocking roads, getting out was manic! Walk to the terminal building isn't too bad.

Car park was a bit wild. People parked on kerbs and verges Needs marshalled a lot better Walking route needs improved to the terminal

I usually use the surface carpark, but had left it too late ahead of my trio. The price had more than doubled, so I chose the long stay car park, whose price was more reasonable, but still walkable from the airport. On arrival it appeared to be an absolute free-for-all, with cars parked in the road everywhere and very few available spaces, making getting parked a stressful experience ahead of a flight. No marked footway to the terminal either. On the plus side, booking, entry and exit were smooth and easy. Would not use the long stay carpark again. My experiences in the surface and multi storey have been much better.

Having travelled all day and waited in line for almost 3/4 of an hour at passport control on finding my car and proceeding to the exit and entering the ticket issued when entered the car park a week earlier I was shocked to find I owed £360 for parking which was booked and paid for some considerable weeks earlier. after contacting whoever was in control and giving my name and registration number of my car I was allowed to proceed. It was not a pleasant way to experience to have with a 60-odd mile drive in front of me.

Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Yet again the barrier fails to open with a pre-payment when parking ticket is inserted, had to press the assistance call button to speak with someone for the barrier to open. This seems to be a constant problem at the multi story car park, systems need updating.

Could not find a space and had to park on verge. No bus to airport - not a problem for me with hand luggage but a real issue for people with luggage and kids. Very poor service.

Awful. The car park was designed for a shuttle bus service and this is now withdrawn so that it has very little pathways and there is no shelter from the weather. Overbooked so cars parked all over the place. Exit signage very poor.

This is my third time using the long stay car park and don't think will use it again. almost impossible to find a space, cars parked on yellow lines, in gaps for walking, turning etc, so difficult to get down some area. Seems very disorganized. Wasted so much time trying to find space, think needs to be monitored, and some guidance to users on where spaces. But like finding a needle in a haystack. If going for long stay option again would defiantly recommend an off-site car park with a shuttle bus rather than this one

This is a challenging car park. The access is narrow, and you can see where other cars have hit the barriers, dragging metal into the accessway - so extra care is needed here. Cars are abandoned all over place, even blocking the junctions. Because of this it's dangerous walking around, and you have to walk because there is no bus shuttle service. The exit is poorly posted, and expect to take a few wrong turns trying to get out. The only positives - it's the least expensive parling option, and the short walk does you good.

Good to be able to book in advance, but when we arrived there were no spaces available which was very stressful. Also loadsof flooded potholes so we arrived with wet shoes in the terminal.

Paid almost £80 for long stay parking to get there and there was no spaces in the car park absolute nightmare and very stressful when you have a flight to catch. On top of that the car park that I pay for is also used as a staff car park I think Edinburgh airport need to look at the parking situation.

Unfortunately as ever the parking/roads system at Edinburgh airport is rather chaotic. Once we got to our parking slot, after really heavy traffic, we got on the bus to take us to the terminal. However the airport traffic was very bad and we ended up having to get off the bus to walk to the terminal, as this was quicker. Surely there could be a separate route buses can take to the terminal which is different to other traffic. On return, the signposting to the place to go to for the bus was very poor!

It’s fine for hand luggage would be a pain with more luggage and finding a space was a long hunt around the car park. Still better than getting hit for £119 for 3 days for multi-storey.

Everything was excellent regarding fart park however, as happened before, I couldn't exit the airport without assistance. Very annoying with a queue behind me.

The parking was fine until I was charged£29 for an extra day as my flight was cancelled and it had only cost me over £70 to stay a fortnight
