Hard to see where our drop off point was on our return to collect our car. Heavy rain made visibility from bus difficult and bus driver gave no indication whatsoever which was unhelpful. Waiting area for bus on return was a long way from terminal. Shelter/waiting area was full of luggage trolleys - keeping them nice and dry but leaving us and other passengers no-where to keep dry!

At the point of purchase, there was no indication how to overcome the barriers. I was surprised to be given a ticket on entering the car park - just as a non pre-booked client would - and so when we tried to leave the car park in the very early hours of the morning, we were told we owed you over £200 ! You had the vehicle registration number, so we assumed your system would recognise this and the barriers would open automatically. Fortunately we found your "help system" was manned and so he opened the barriers for us but if there had been no-one to receive our call for help, we might have had to pay over £200 to get out.

Only issue was my pre paid ticket didn't work on the barriers to leave and took 15 minutes to get a hold of someone to sort it out

I found it very difficult to know where to park, perhaps due to the time of morning it was extremley busy and rushed. However, as it turns out I think I parked in the wrong car park and I was due to pay £145.00 although I had already prepaid my car parking prior to arriving. When I called for assistance on your machine, the gentleman on the other end was very rude and abrupt, I felt as though I was bothering him with my question but I didn't know what else to do. I appreciate that the staff must get a hard time from some members of the public but I felt this was unneeded. After a very stressful flight home this was the last thing we wanted to encounter. If this could be passed on I would be grately appreciated as the rest of the airport was great and this was a let down at the end of my trip.

I booked the surface parking and there were no spaces anywhere near the airport. In had to park near the bus terminal which wasn't what I wanted paying the additional money

Very poorly signposted, confusing regarding access to terminal, closed pedestrian bridge access at evening with no warning and complete lack of signage when arriving back re how to get to car park. Not great at all.

There are a number of spaces in the multi-story car park sectioned off for no apparent reason. The cost of the car parking is getting very expensive.

I have used the prebooking service many many times as I travel for business the last 3 times have resulted in my not getting the preordered ticket . I have to press the assistance button then take usual ticket from the machine then on way back call again with my reference number , the team where great on all occasions to get it fixed but it is not as convenient as it used to be

Fed up getting to the barrier and it saying you owe £240 .....you are going to give someone a heart attack. Signage not that clear also

Someone forced lock cover off my Freelander parked floor 1 multi story whilst parked for 1 week - so this parking is insecure. Also when exiting with pre-paid ticket I was asked for £360 before barrier would raise - helpful guy on intercom sorted it in seconds, seemingly a common occurrence.

The number plate recognition system did not work. We had to contact the help line via the intercom to cancel the additional charge. The recognition system has previously worked so it needs to be mended. This could be problematic for overseers visitors.

I have used the long term car park for many years. With pre-booking it is a reasonable price. Unfortunately the bus to/from terminal is now a very long walk from the terminal itself. It used to pick up alongside the terminal building. Now we have to walk almost to the car park and much of this in the rain (including the bus stance itself). Why?? At the moment (February/March) there are enough spaces but last Summer it got very difficult to find spaces and the overall size of the car park seems to have been reduced since then. The buses are commendably frequent and (unlike some years ago) are seldom overcrowded.

Signing to our particular mid-stay car park was a bit confusing, so we took longer than necessary to find our car after returning. Also walkway to it was narrow behind a shed/building and fence which could be uncomfortable if walking it alone at night.

Parking is very expensive. The one way layout in the terminal surface parking makes it more difficult to find a space. The layout of the drop off/pick up in the multi story carpark is confusing and signage is unclear. Number plate recognition works well.

Too expensive for late booking. Takes advantage of the business traveller. Drop off point at the airport is too far away from the departure terminal.

£29.99 for 5 days parking in Mid-Stay......but due to my return flight being cancelled I didn't get back to Edinburgh till 14 hours later and was then charged an additional £30.45. Extortion?

I have used your airport parking twice in the last month for long weekends. Very easy to find and quick to get to the airport. Only issue (but a big one..) was that both times I paid in advance for parking and both times it said I was due roughly £70 on the way out. I had to call the intercom both times to explain before I could get through. May need a better procedure for pre paid parkers as I got a big shock thinking I had to pay more! Still, decent car park and close to terminals

The website is not as easy to use for bookings since you withdrew the 'membership' The retention of details saved filling them in every time, and the ability to look up all bookings and history meant that I could easily check to make sure whether I had made a booking or not. Otherwise the ingress and egress to and from the multi story is easy and booking in advance means no queues to pay before exit. As far as the airport is concerned the service gets worse. Long queues for security checking, even with Fast Track, and the lack of aircraft stands so that some aircraft park miles away from the terminal with consequent delays, don't endear the airport to regular flyers.
