Drop off went as planned. Pick up was complete shambles an chaotic. The fast park apparently was overbooked and cars from the day prior could not be moved due to capacity, stopping around 100 people getting their cars at 1am-4am on 12/10/24. Many young children standing in single figures temperatures, a staff member saying maybe an hour wait - some people already there 2 hours. After arriving at the car park to get my car around 230am - I eventually got away at 5am. No manager came to discuss the problem or face many angry people, kids as young as 1 shivering from the cold and tiredness from overnight flights. Asked for heating to be put on but was told it was ‘broken’. No warm drinks provided to many cold children, adults and some people with disabilities. When it works, it might work well but they have messed up overbooking with greediness and caused a lot of distress for many people. Cars were eventually brought back one at a time as multiple staff had to move several cars to get your one out with the way they operate. No contingency planning for faults or for customers arriving back from warm climates to 2+ hour waits for your car in 5c temperatures. I am rightly contacting them for a full refund and many people that suffered this that morning or if it’s a regular thing should definitely do the same.

My experience of this was terrible. After arriving back in Edinburgh, I went to collect my car. There was approximately 100 people also waiting to collect their cars. Some already having to wait in excess of 2 hours for their car. We arrived with 2 young children, and we were made to wait around 90 minutes to receive our car. There was no heating in the building, our children were extremely cold and tired. We eventually got our car at around 4:30am. When I eventually did get my car, when I tried to leave the car park. I got a ticket from the barrier, this then tried to charge me another £6 to leave! Absolute shambles from start to finish. Would not use this service again.

How long can you delay passengers on landing? Are inbound flights not expected? Oh, they need stairs, possibly two. Maybe a bus, let's not send two unless they really need two at a remote stand Pass Controle: staff doing hee-haw, meanwhile all direct

I arrived 13 minutes early for 3.5 days of parking (at a cost of £50) and was charged a £120 surcharge. This is wholly disproportionate. I have submitted a request for the surcharge to be refunded.

Yous asked for fight numbers on your web site which I gave ! Then on collecting my car I was still charged £45 pounds extra! The guy on the call button was very smug like he was enjoying charging me extra!! I was very unhappy with this service! Never again and I would never recommend you to anyone.

Thank you for your review, When making a booking you select your exit date and time. If you exit out with the pre-booked time you will be charged the drive up and park rates. We also offer a 6 hour grace period therefore if you exit out with this you are charged the drive up and park rates. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Really disappointed, I prepaid parked my car and when I came to the barrier you charged me £147 , I was on my way to an appointment so could not sort out on site, now I have to do it all on line and it will not be easy I am sure - completely not on!

Car had clearly been ragged around. Boot contents all over the place, passenger seatbelt clipped into driver's clip, seat memory changed, a/c completely changed, radio tuned to a channel I'd never listen to and left on high volume. Do not use Edinburgh FastPark. Will always put the car in parking myself and keep the keys with me in future. Shocking for an official airport carpark.

I used the wrong entrance for the multi storey parking so I had to pay £140 for the parking despite having already paid for a booking

Very expensive - this monopoly should be illegal. Had to stay an extra day - no way to extend stay at original rate, and no way to buy an extra day at any reasonable rate. Tried to charge me £45/day for the cheapest car park. I just say at gate and 'discussed' until a more reasonable rate was offered. Disgraceful

First of all there is no postcode on the booking so it took us ages to find the right car park. Parking was easy enough and the transfer to the airport was ok. The return was in poring rain and the driver didn't open the boot so people couldn't get on because of cases blocking the aisle. Eventually the driver opened the boot so everyone had to get off again and put bags in boot then on again. All in heavy rain. Then when we tried to leave we were told we owed £160 even though we had pre paid. The intercom to resolve this worked quite well and the guy was helpful but all was done with my car window open and rain pouring into the vehicle. A bit of a disaster to be honest.

Thank you for your review, I can confirm that the directions can be found on your booking confirmation to the car park and the car parks are signposted at each roundabout on approach to the car parks. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit and I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time. Had prepaid for parking before trip, but it tried to charge me £150 when I tried to exit car park. Had to buzz for ages to get someone to check my records and let us through. Other than that pre paid parking was good value and easy to use on way in.

the barrier wouldn’t open , my husband put his card in and it charged him £145 !! i had already paid £49 for the parking . phoned to get refund to be told it needs to be done online and it’s 5 days and we still haven’t heard from edinburgh parking

Lifts werent working - all of them - no one wanted to know or help! least of all the wheelchair assist service ( rude & arrogant) - thought it would matter to them most etc....I was told it wasnt his job!!!!! Had to drag bags down from level 3 via the stairs. Customer services on ground floor just shrugged and told me they'd been on & off all day - PATHETIC!

Was charged £45 for mistakenly putting my arrival time in the booking. Shocking the full price for 7 days was only £59. Punished for an honest mistake.

Very unclear which car park to go to. On our arrival back from our break, the ticket said pay£175 . I rang and gave my vehicle no. Nothing happened for 5 mins.. Rang again and a RUDE man said put the ticket in. I was appalled. Ashamed to come from Scotland. Abysmal service and behaviour

I booked the plane parking, but because of poor signage I ended up parking in the long stay car park,(judging by the other cars stuck at the long stay exit, I was not the only one). It then cost me £20 to leave the long stay, which I think is a rip off, given there are no shuttle buses. This was after I had paid £84 for the plane parking, which means I paid over. £100 for parking. Given I had already paid I do think this is excessive, especially given the lack of direction to find the correct car park.

Thank you for your review. Wayfinding instructions are available online as well as being issued to you directly in the booking confirmation for the car park that you have booked. All of our car parks are signposted at their entrance with the name of the car park and wayfinding for each of our car parks is in key traffic locations on approach to the airport.
