“I found our arrival at airport parking at 7am to be very confusing to find short term, very poorly signposted esp for those not regulars. Leave extra time fir any errir in choosing the wrong lane. The staff were very helpful in sorting out an issue with our prebooked parking.”

“Multi-storey car parking was good.
Booking was good.
Trying to leave car park was an experience , a repeat of a similar incident .
The display told me I was due £350 ..and would not allow me to leave.
After contacting the attendant , our matter was resolved and we were allowed to leave . This is not good and again I indicate a repeated incident.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration this would have caused.

“NPR didn`t recognise my number correctly. When I tried to exit, the machine wanted £675 to leave the car park. The attendant took ages to respond to the call button but to be fair to him, when he did, he sorted the problem instantly.”

“On booking this car park many times and having a bus to take you to the terminal this time no buses had to walk in the rain and was soaked through was not happy with the start of our holiday the same coming back from our holiday not really worth the money”

“On my most recent visit having bought and prepaid for surface parking no problems
incurred on departure but on return around 2 am 11 days later arriving at advised ETA when I tried to exit , the ticket was rejected and a payment of several hundred pounds requested before exit would be allowed. Eventually after an anxious wait ( not recommended after a 4 hour plus flight at 2 am ) I got an answer to my telephone call for help. The recipient, only doing his job, couldn`t find any record of my booking but after some inquisition agreed to let us through. I would have thought I could expect some follow up communication from airport parking but some 3 months later, nothing. I have to admit having used the service on several previous occasions this is the only time I`ve had a problem, but none the less I would have liked to have received an explanation for the incident.

“If I parked in long stay but paid for fast track at security, I think I should have been allowed to do so. I was told that I only get fast track if I park in the multi storey car park.”

“Poorly signposted, when booking online my car registration was not recognised so they tried to charge me I think £170 on exiting the car park.
Add to the fact Edinburgh airport has no facilities for obtaining foreign currency not even via an ATM overall it was a very disappointing experience compared to previous flights out of Edinburgh”
“This is not the multi-story car park. This is Terminal Parking. Which can be close to Terminal but we ended up beyond the control tower when we finally found a space. So very far from the Terminal parking. And, very small spaces when we did find one.
Also, confusing signs and layout.
Almost ended up in multi-story which would have cost us a fortune later.”

“Arrived at the airport early afternoon, the parking area barrier was down and nobody answered the intercom. We had pre-booked so we drove around the barrier past no entry signs to gain entrance to the car park. After parking, we went to the office to find that unmanned. On attemting to enter the airport using the fast track that was included in our booking this was also not possible. We parked for two weeks with a 'hope and a prayer that it would be ok as we were due to arrive back very late evening. On arrival, we were apprehensive but were able to leave following a discussion on the intercom with an attendant.”
