Yet again on a Sunday it took 30 minutes to get out of the surface parking due to excess traffic. You cannot continue to call this a service whilst not addressing the traffic flow on exit

27 August, 2017 - Jet2 flight from Alicante landed at 3:00pm. Half an hour to get plane parked, steps on. Then a very long time us from plane to arrivals. Passport control was very good. However, this is when it all really went bad. After 30 minutes waiting for bags I asked the Jet2 rep what was going on. After some investigation the bags had been delivered to the wrong belt. This belt was in a different arrivals hall so all of the bags had to be collected from the belts then delivered to the collect belt. It took over an hour from start to finish. Landed at 3:00pm but didn't get out until 4:50pm. To give this some context. I live approximately 25 minutes from Newcastle Airport. I flew into Newcastle Airport in May. From the time we touched down to when I got home was one hour exactly. So that was 35 minutes for me to get through passport control, collect my bags and get to my car. This level of service is pretty standard at Newcastle Airport. Also your Long Stay car park bus stop is very poorly sign posted - go and have a look yourself. Plenty of signage for the mid-stay bus stop but nothing for long stay. I had to ask somebody. And why are the bus stops so far away from the terminal. At Newcastle airport they are just outside the terminal, like any normal airport. It saved me £500 for me and my family flying from Edinburgh instead of Newcastle. Perhaps the saving is not worth the terrible set up at Edinburgh.

I wanted to cancel and unlike sensible sites like booking com I couldn't cancel a ns get a full refund a few days in advance. Seems silly as being peak holiday time I am sure the space could have been sold n times over - every time I have tried to get a space in the car park I usually end up about as far from the terminal as one can get and that's when it's off peak.

Took me 30mins to find a parking space there was six other cars looking for spaces, Disappointed that I paid for a space and there was none there was no attendants around to help any of us find a space fortunately a chap going to his car saw how upset I was told me to follow him to his space.disappointed

I paid more than £90 for parking close to the terminal for 11 days and was put in sector S which is a good 10 minutes away. Rubbish service.

Convenient and easy - but the automatic number recognition doesn't work, on the last 3 occasions when I've used valet parking, I've had to buzz to both get in and to get out - systems are poor

Poor directions car park full had to exit then return back in and departures was issued with a ticket to £288 even though we had pre paid ( extra aswell for close to terminal parking)

Lovely new charging policy - keep everyone hanging around in the terminal waiting for luggage then "woops" you overstayed your time and we want more money to let you out...great business for a monopoly.

On returning to the car park we were 1 hour and 20 mins later than i had booked due to aircraft delay, i expected to have to pay a little extra but when i put my ticket in the machine i was told to pay £34.00, almost half what it cost originally for 2 weeks, for being just over an hour late. Absolutely diabolical and i will definitely not be using your car park in future.

This company is a disgrace, with rip-off charges and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I booked 2 weeks parking, and due to flight delays I returned a couple of hours later than expected, but still well within the day I had booked and paid for. However, the machine would not let me exit the car park until I had paid an additional £13.50, and there was no-one on site to talk to. No other company has ever charged me an excess fee in similar circumstances, even for short-term parking. My complaint was dismissed out of hand without answering my questions, I wrote to the CEO but after 2 months I haven't even had the courtesy of a reply. I will never use this company again, and will always park offsite from now on.

I park at Edinburgh Airport for business trips approximately every 2 weeks, have been doing this for years, and use the multi-storey with fast-track every time. It's not cheap. I always book online in advance. The last 5 times on exit the barrier machine has asked for payment over £100, I've had to call the supervisor, and have had to sit having a discussion to justify my booking and be allowed out. Bearing in mind this is after long business trips when all I want to do is get home to my family. The time before last it was midnight, pouring rain, and the supervisor insisted on coming down to the barrier to have a pointless discussion for 25 mins at the end of which he agreed I had paid in advance and let me out without charge. This defeats the whole purpose. This used to be so efficient. What has happened? Has the technology or number plate recognition system changed and isn't working any more? I'm a very valuable repeat customer and am sick of being treated suspiciously and so disrespectfully. This needs to be resolved.

I made a mistake when pre booking surface parking. I accept total responsibility. However I feel the penalty I had to pay was excessive. £98 for pre pay parking and for a two day unpaid 'error' I had to pay an additional £125. The operator was polite and professional and I hadn't realised my error at that time so I was quite surprised and dismayed but not rude. The price of parking at Edinburgh Airport was more expensive than my flight and as a pensioner this spoiled my trip. Sadly after this stressful experience I doubt if I would use edinburgh airport parking again.

We booked our parking at Edinburgh Airport main car park and unfortunately as we are not familiar with the airport we turned left as we approached the airport following signs for long stay car park. it was only on our return from holiday when faced with a hefty charge that we realised we had parked on airparks car park instead of the Edinburgh Airport main car park. I contacted the as we are flying from Edinburgh twice this year due to cheap flights to explain and ask if they would consider giving us a discount if we booked with them again only to receive this unbelievable short and unhelpful reply: Unfortunately we don't offer discount codes. Kind Regards Edinburgh Bookings Team Empark UK Limited Only to then open my emails and find one from Edinburgh Airport Car Parks offering me a 10% discount to review their service!! What a joke. your online booking is confusing ie the 24 hour clock system. Just back from Tenerife on the 16th and had booked plus upgrade from 11th aug 2017-16th Aug at 00.00 and the charged an additional £47 and told i was 20 hours over.When i asked the employee why , they were not that helpful in their explanation...very disapointed and wont be using again.

Wrongly charged additional sum to allow me to exit car park. No facility to contact staff on machine. Second time in a row this has happened, this time only £13.50 last time machine wanted £247. Poor that the system does not work properly

My online booking in advance was great and the entry in to the mid stay car park was fine and I found a space easily enough. On my return the barrier never went up and suggested I owed £360. I pressed the contact us buttton at the barrier four times and no one responded. I then parked the car and phoned the telephone number on the booking form three times and no one answered. I then spoke to someone in the car park and they suggested I head back to the multi storey car park and speak to someone in the office. I then did that and they reprinted another ticket for me and twenty minutes later I left the car park. Not impressed at all.

Sorry for the low score, but I made a mistake with my departure time I put 11am instead of 23:00. I was charged £34.00 for my mistake so I will not hurry back to book your car park any time soon. Regards Paul Maley.
